After watching the Nintendo press event late last week it really got me thinking about the Wii.  I won't say it got me excited, but it definitely has sparked my interest.  As a kid born in the 80's, naturally I grew up on Nintendo, from the NES to the N64 and everything in between.  So the virtual console alone is a major selling point for me.  Not to mention the new controller looks like it will breed some innovative crazy gameplay ideas. 

I haven't looked at many of the new games, but the ones I have looked through seem to be a little for the younger crowd.  This fact has been the sole reason why I've felt a little iffy about the Wii, and in all honesty it still is.  We'll see as the launch gets closer and more games come into view.
