So we're coming down to the last few weeks of summer, and all of my friends have left to go back to college. My girlfriend started her classes on monday as did the few of my friends still left in the area. Basically this leaves me with absolutely nothing to do most of the days out of the week. To fill this terrible void I have been stepping it up on the PSU lately.

MAG2 took place from August 2 until the 21 and you better believe I milked that crappy event for all it was worth. After being gone for almost 5 months that was exactly what I needed to catch back up. I capped my two main characters and both my alts up to level 85. I got all the job class levels I am going to need once the master classes come out and capped out my fortegunner, acrotecher/fortetecher class on my mains. Made about 40mil and suited up all of my characters. It was terribly boring, but I finally got it all done in those 3 weeks.

Only problem is I kind of made myself sick of the game. I knew that was coming but I figured it would be better to get it done all right then and there so I would have 4 different characters all with very differnt play styles to use whenever I wanted. This way I don't really have to worry bout anything but leveling up my spells, skills or bullets and hunting for better equipment. As soon as I get a little better equiment on my guntecher and hunter I plan on taking some time off again to get into some of these new RPGs coming out.

The new Neudaiz GBR event they have going on now is helping out with the equipment hunt though. Well at least for my hunter and techer... Good S ranks are literally being thrown at our feet. This game has always favored techers and hunters, which is exactly why I chose to start a character of each a loong time ago, but this time around it's almost retarded. We waited all this time for the 12* rods and they literally drop like crimsons! I mean we had three drop in a mission where there are only like 20 creatures with the possibilty to drop it, seriously Sega wtf. Way to make 12* drops sheit right off the bat. Easy rares are easy rares but you better do the same BS with the 12* rifle or something...

Seeing this 12* rod fiasco just reminds me the terrible truth I've known since the first month of this game.... Gunners get the f'in shaft.

So what's been up everyone? It's been an extremely long time since I've written a new blog, almost 2 years to be exact. A lot has gone on in my life and in my video gaming "career" if you want to call it that. I finally received my Associate's degree in Science last semester after nearly 4 years of screwing around. Kind of embarrassing but F it, I had the time of my life those first two years partying after highschool, I wouldn't take it back if I had the chance. Around the time of my last blog I started cracking down on school, and a year and a half later I graduated my Associate's program with honors. Not too bad if I do say so myself.

But on to things someone besides myself might care about. I'm still playing PSU, I just got back last week from a 4 month hiatus of the game. The hiatus wasn't entirely my choice, around march my xbox started overheating all the time. I could only play for about 30-45 min at a time before it would overheat and shut off. I never actually got the RROD but this was close enough. So I just stopped playing the 360 all together for a few months, I had plenty of school work to take care of anyway so it didn't turn out to be as torturous as I had originally thought. I didn't even bother to send in my 360 for repairs until the end of may. This is where the continual shafting, that is my life, came back to haunt me. I dropped my coffin off at the UPS store on June 5th, MS received it at the repair shop on June 7th (I know b/c of the tracking #), and then no one knows wtf happened to it after that... Yah... that's right, those douches lost my xbox.

Being the patient person I am I didn't bother calling until 5 weeks had past and I hadn't heard anything. I was ready for a lengthy battle with customer service, as I have heard horror stories. I must say though I was pleasantly surprise how they handled it. Props to MS for that one. Once they realized they lost it they sent out a replacement the next day (saturday) and I received it on monday. Pretty impressed by that turn around. On top of that they also sent me 1 month free of live and Need for Speed: Carbon. Kind of an old game and I'm not even sure if I'll ever play it but whatever it was free. Unfortunately though, I got a refurb console. MF date Oct 06, but it does have the newest and quietest dvd drive, so i can only hope there are other replacement parts inside. I'm hoping for the opus mother board, but I know damn well there's no falcon chip in there. Here's to hoping this one lasts me a decent amount of time before it breaks down.

I want to do a run down of my feelings of this year's E3, and there are plenty, but in the interest of avoiding the wall o text I commonly produce, I'll wait until next time. Take it easy everyone.

What day is it?  Where have I been these past 2 weeks??

It's official... Hi my name is e Tard and I'm addicted to PSU 

Ever since I got this game 2 weeks ago I can't resist playing during nearly all of the free time I have.  It's starting to get pretty sad , I haven't gone out for more than an hour a night for the past two weekends in a row. Even worse, now I've fallen behind in my school work also.

In these 2 weeks I've put a combined total of 105 hours into this game....  dear god man.  Just to put that in perspective for ya, there are 336 hours in two weeks.  In other words I have spent nearly a third of the two weeks playing online in this game, and that's not subtracting the hours I sleep, work, and go to school per week.... 

Yep, PSU has single-handedly turned me into a loser.

But, all this talk of PSU has only made me want to play more.  So I'm off to get my fix for today, don't worry, I won't play for too long.... I promise!
