MLG Anaheim was a momentous occassion for Smash - this is what is going to make Smash a hit.

The Singles finals couldn't have happened better if you planned them.

PC got knocked out of the winners bracket by Chu-Dat (best Ice Climbers in the World) 3-1. This was a big disapointment, thinking that the finals would come down to Chu-Dat vs Ken (long time friends = no motovation to watch) Everyone in the smash community wanted another rematch between ken and Pc chris, like they had in the season opener in New York.

PC came back in the losers to take back the set from Chu-dat to earn him the right to play Ken on the main stage with 3-4 camera crews and close to 300 people in the stands, overflowing the smashers to the floor.

PC needed to win two sets of 5 to beat Ken, since he was coming out of the losers bracket.

Ken choses Marth, PC choses Falco - each going with thier mains, the crowd went nuts. this was to be a match for the ages.

set 1, PC takes it in dominating fashion, 3-1

set 2, Ken and Pc go back and forth in four incredably close and impressive displays of pure skill and mind games.

this brought it to a 5th and final match. They goto Mute City for the final bout

in an insane match no one ever looking in full control of the other it came down to last stock, high %.

Ken gets PC in a amazing combo finishing with a spike, only to have the stage rush back up just in time to save PC and the fight continued, this time with PC in charge. Ken whiped around and got a chance hit off that was just enough to knock PC off for the win.

The 90% California crowd went absolutly insane and rushed the stage celebrating Ken's amazing victory over his rival. The two shock hands with a smile and the large crowd of east coast suporters came in to suport him. Everyone was in agreement that it was the best match they had ever seen in thier life, and they both played thier best.

Ken and PC Chris played the best match in smash history, and they had thier fans, and tv cameras all around them to document it.

Congradulations to Ken for his Win (2,000) and PC Chris at 2nd (1,200)

You'll see it yourselves this Fall on USA http://www.usanetwork.com/

or see it next week on the rebroadcast from Anaheim on VoD (video on demand) off MLG.
