Snagging Left 4 Dead on sale was a good precursor to building my first PC rig. Things were a bit stressful at times, but the assembling went off well and the computer is running fine. The difference in quality from my laptop with a 1.86 Ghz Pentium M and 128 MB Mobility Radeon x300 to my new rig with a Q9300 Core 2 Quad and a 512 MB Radeon HD 4870 is jaw dropping. While I spent a bit more then I would've liked and getting an Xbox 360 would've been far much less of a hassle, I am very happy so far.

Hopefully, nothing will break down in the next few years and I will be able to enjoy (when I get them) Crysis Warhead, FarCry 2, and Fallout 3 for a long time.
