Well, just how bad was Bones this time around? I think they could have murdered my favourite show. Wannabe in the Weeds was good and well thought out.

This was just bad. The characterization was all wrong, there was humour in serious moments which is unnecessary, serious moments were done in the wrong places, peoples reactions were totally skewed and the BB moment at the end meant pretty much nothing to me.

I hate to say it, but Bones could just have jumped the shark.

I thought the episode was good, not the best Bones ever had but good. Wouldn't judge the whole show on one episode. Maybe you'll love the season 4 premiere.

I didn't get my hopes too far up (remember, the end of Wannabe was good, but the rest of the ep was pretty bland), so I'm not particularly bent out of shape. I'll pass judgment when they've had just a bit more time to bounce back from the writer's strike. It takes a while, sometimes.

See, I thought Wannabe was good all the way through. But this one was bad all the way through. Except for a few moments. I don't think they made a very well-thought-out or good decision in picking Zack. I'm hoping season four is good. I don't think it's jumped the shark yet, but it's going to if it keeps this out of character stuff up. I don't want to lose Bones after I've already lost Moonlight.

See, I keep saying Verdict in the Story, why is that?
Do I have a brain tumor?

I think it's because that blog entry down there is about Verdict in the Story, and it's subliminally influencing my mind.

Couldn't agree more, Epic. Thank you for putting in words what I feel this morning.

Feel exactly the same, i think the writers underestimated the fans' love for Zack. The moment at the end was due to emotional exhaustion and not love.. Sadly. But cheer up Eppi They are in London in a couple of months. You know what they say about going to a different country.
Well, i don't. I don't know if anybody does say anything like that, but we can still hope!

I think hte episode is good!! Not the best but good... and the show will survive without Zack.

Hmmm, I feel the same, although I will remain faithful to my favourite show I am not a happy camper this morning.

I'm sorry that you feel this way. I understand the points you made. I agree that the ep isn't up there with the best of them but I personally liked it. And I don't think the show has jumped the shark because of this. I hope you find your faith in Bones again.

It makes me very sad, but I totally agree with you. Either they have a really weird plan about it all, or the show has jumped the shark. I was so angry after watching The Pain, I almost erased all the season three eps from my computer, and seriously considered selling my first season dvd. I'm just so disgusted.

So just to let you know, you're not alone in this.

I've seen worse television. But only on BAD SHOWS. If you consider what a great show this was (yes, I said WAS) this may be the worst season finale in the history of television so far.
