So, I just bought a Nintendo Wii. I don't really know why, but since it was in the store shelf staring into my soul, I figured I'll buy it before someone who actually wanted it got it instead. I'm a bastard.

I must say, so far I'm loving it.

After my girlfriend slapped me for spending money I shouldn't have, she ended up watching me play all of last night. I had a second Wiimote but nunchuck a no-go, so we played lots of Wii Sports last night. Lots and lots and lots of it. We didn't even bother to touch Zelda! It was a fantastic night, even with the Canucks loss.

She had to work today, and since I didn't, I've been playing Zelda and checking out the Virtual Console library without her. Zelda is great, I love it. I d/led Donkey Kong Country and Star Fox 64. I got DKC because me and my cuz (CEh) used to play it all the time. I haven't tried SF64 yet, but I'll get around to it eventually.
