Mkay, so I got this supposedly kick*** new video card right? Right?

(Check it out)

(Sorry about the crappy quality. It was my cell phone, too lazy to grab the Nikon.)

My old one:

The new one:

Mkay, so it's better than my nVidia 8800 GT right? Well, it appearently has no driver support for Windows XP, so the quality was actually /worse/ than my 2 year old 8800. I got better framerate and graphical quality from the 8800 with 16x AA and AF than the ATI gave with nothing enabled besides resolution. Pathetic. *waits for Windows 7 so it might work better*

Sucks about the video card. That's Windows for you. I wouldn't get my hopes up about Windows 7.

My dad got a RC of Windows 7, and it's run really well on his laptop for a few months now, and it runs everything I'd need it to run, it's better than Vista, and I'll need it for the card to work correctly. Run-on sentences rock don't they?

Yeah, I started with an nVidia Geforce 6800 that came with my XPS 420, and got my wittle 8800 as a birthday present. *hugs* I've been very happy with it for the 2 year's I've had it. It does everything I ask of it and then some.

Mmm sorry to hear that. Must... get... awesome good quality video cards! Windows Vista? I think I might use that too. I know I use Internet Explorer. Only my white mini-laptop uses Firefox.

Well, I had an ATI in my old workstation, and it performed well. My dad got me this new ATI because it supposedly ran Fallout 3 better, so we tried a side by side with my nVidia and the ATI in his Win7 comp, and having both cards force high graphics, and my nVidia still beat it. So I'm keeping my nVidia.
