Yes, I'm aware that I'm "too old", but its for the little kids' parades, and also for handing out the candies at the door. We were told that my old school (where we're performing) only lets the kids dress as characters from books now. We're pretty sure that doesn't apply to us, but we think the Texas Chainsaw Massacre guy's from a book, so that should be perfectly fine XD.
I'm going to make a cloak out of black garbage bags with a giant hood, kinda like this:
I'm going to wear that, and also go by the name "Steve" for Halloween and the day before (which is the parade). I'm also certain that it meets the school's critera of "book character". Mangas count as books right? And what's scarier than a grown, teenage woman in a black, garbage-bag cloak calling herself "Steve" while wielding a saxophone?
