Hi. First blog entry. Well... Ah, I feel like I must precise something: I'm French, but I live in Bangkok, and this until May 2008. So you won't wonder about my weird posting hours, if you actually care .

I'm here as an exchange student for one year, in a niiiice (no sarcasm here) host family, and a still NICER girls' school (SARCASM here). I lost 5 kg and gained 3 back an put a nice orange tan on as well. I happily eat **** at every meal (sorry, you'll have to find out by yourself, this word has been banned from my vocabulary a little while ago.), we have to crawl at teachers's feet on a regular basis (they'reregarded as semi-gods here), I have to wear wonderfully bright yellow shirts every day (just plain gorgeous with my reddish hair) wake up at 4.45am, and, of course, nobody -and I mean NOBODY- has ever heard about the X-Files, which makes me feel hopelessly alone against the world. Or Thailand, at least.

But don't you think I'm not having a good time here ! I met some cool people, temples are splendid, food tastes good (well, except the infamous ****), Buddhism is interesting, I've never seen as many palm trees in my whole life, and I managed to buy three (fake- I know, baaad ) seasons for 25 euros.

Just wanted to clarify the situation.
