Hello poopyheads!

I AM NOW OFFICALLY A FREE WOMAN! Now I am out of school for 19 days
My list of things to do:

  • Sleep. At least try. I am still having trouble. I've slept for less than 4 hours a night for almost two weeks and I don't know why I wake up

  • Read. Long list of books to read

  • Go to the library to return borrowed books. They're late

  • Write. GOD YES, I HAVEN'T HAD TIME!

  • Bake christmas-y stuff. Swedish christmas-y stuff, I might add, but we'll get to that later. Yes, I am still trying to get into Christmas mood. Failing so far...

  • Go to a 'party' with my mums friends and drink Julmust It's a type of Swedish drink commonly drunken around Christmas and Easter. For those of you who are interested--> Julmust . LOL "Those outside Sweden who are curious to try julmust might be able to purchase and sample a bottle from a nearby IKEA store." Typically Swedish Wow, aren't I stereotypical!

  • Possibly do something with old friend.

  • Clean my room. The christmas cleaning *sigh *

  • Run. Aww, how nice to have time for that.

So yes, freedom is upon me! Anyway, last day, I arrived to school 15 minutes early to catch my music teacher. Me and my friend had talked to him about videotaping the annual Christmas play. We did. Every year the teachers in my school do this, and it's just as embarrassing each time!
They do Disney cl*ssics and often they mock us, the students, in them, and even in the presentations and stuff Like for example, this years Ferdinand the bull, Ferdinand sat and texted instead of smelling flowers People do that in school. And yes, I am a bad girl, I've done it too

Then I got my grades

I got 12/16 MVGs and the rest VGs! For those of you who missed my long and overly complicated blog, or just said 'screw this awful wall of text' about our grading system, an MVG is the best, a VG comes second and then comes a G. If you fail you get and IG.

Swedish: MVG
English: MVG
Spanish: MVG
PE: MVG
Biology: MVG
Chemistry: MVG
Physics: MVG
History: MVG
RE: MVG
Georaphy: MVG
Society: MVG
Math: MVG
Technique: VG ( I actually got MVG but they only refresh this grade once a year instead of once a semester )
Textiles: VG (You know how I told you she'd lower me? Well I have no idea, but I think she forgot to go into the database and change it! WTF?! )
Art: VG
Home (I dunno what to call this, basically it's cooking, cleaning and organizing and stuff): VG

It's a good grade, yes. But choosing new schools for next year and all that is still bothering me. It's hard to know what I want to do. Even though I've had a plan since I was 11, now when I can get it started, I freak out. Go me.

Pic of the gingerbread houses. I'mma begin with ours so that it looks less crappy compared to the others. I am not kidding, people actually rock at this.

sThe Animal farm, with the marsipan animals!

qThe slaghter! Yes, we're apperantly barbaric

q
Napoleon, the evil pig. *psst* I made him notice the little belly button

q
Snowball, aww.

Here are the other, awesome, ones

Damn those people See what I mean? *kicks*

So the 24th we celebrated Christmas, cuz we're freaks and do that here, and HA! I got Hugh Laurie's The Gun Seller (LMAO it rocks!) a collectors edition of Sherlock Holmes(I. Frikkin. Love. Doyle.), my favourite book that I had lost called When Nietzsche Wept( READ IT! BTW Lil, how is that coming along?), an Ipod!, an awesome jacket, a warm sweater, running gear thingy, and then I got the second Harry Potter book cuz I haven't read HP yet But hey, in my defence, they came out while I was reading LOTR so I only read the first one and then I was like 'WTF is this sh!t where are the orchs?' so... But now I'm catching up Oh, and we got an electrical piano.

... I went ice skating (and no Charlie, I am not good at it) It was fun. Yeah. Today we went to eat at a resturant. LOL. Dad threw fruit at sis and started a food fight, lucky we sat in the back so no one saw us I got rice in my glass, damn Speaking of dad Look, what he made!

a

Me and bro:*sitting and baking gingerbread*
Dad: So, can you do whatever you want?
Me: Yes dad, you just take the knife and cut.
Dad: *
rolls it together instead and makes 'the christmas dick'*
Bro: *laughs*
Me:

There is something seriously wrong with my old man

What more? Oh yeah. WTF DO YOU PEOPLE EAT AT CHRISTMAS!? Ok, rant over. I haven't really given it much thought before but now I'm sitting and thinking,

Julmust, Swedish.
w

Ischoklad, Swedish.
a

Lussekatter, Swedish.
s

Janssons frestelse, Swedish.
d

Knäck, Swedish.
q

Meatballs, Swedish.
d

Like even the ham is special and all that jazz.
s

What do you do at Christmas where you live? Do you do anything special? You have any fun traditions?

That's all from me. As y'all probably know by now, I usually include my little House quote here in the ending, but since I am currently reading a certain book written by a certain man who reminds me of this certain series, I'mma include a quote from this certain book instead

"Because what does it mean, to say things aren't going well? Compared to what? You can say: compared to how things were going a couple of hours ago, or a couple of years ago. But that's not the point. If two cars are speeding towards a brick wall with no brakes, and one car hits the wall moments before the other, you can't spend those moments saying that the second car is better off than the first.
Death and disaster are at our shoulders every second of our lives, trying to get at us. Missing, a lot of the time. A lot of miles on the motorway without a front wheel blow-out. A lot of viruses that slither through our bodies without snagging. A lot of pianos that fall a minute after we've passed. Or a month, it makes no difference.
So unless were going to get down on our knees and give thanks every time disaster misses, it makes no sense to moan when it strikes. Us, or anyone else. Because we're not comparing it with anything.
And anyway, we're all dead, or never born, and the whole thing is really a dream.

There, you see. That's the funny side."

I love Hugh Laurie. Yes.

LOVE YOU ALL, LATE MERRY CHRISTMAS, *licks**hugs*

That’s an insane blog, let me tell you. You are lucky I have way too much time on my hands

Yayyy for free time! I’m so not trying anything edible or drinkable coming from Ikea I swear it’s so not what you get there.

You are such a swot! And tsk, tsk at only getting VG at textiles and home, I would have gotten IG for sure on those! Yeah, choosing new schools must be a pain. Just make a list with those that are appealing to you and then priorized based on programs, distance to your place, fees… I dunno. Might help getting a clearer picture.

OMG, the marsipan animals look so cute! They are too lovely I’d feel bad eating those And whoa! You made tons of it!! I love the rocket LMFAO at your dad, he kinda makes interesting stuff as well, it’d be fun to watch people eating that one, huh? Ooooh, I eat Ischoklad all along the year, they are so yummy We eat mostly seafood and lamb, having both the sea and the mountain at a five minute walk. Also typical sweets whose name won’t tell you much. And we drink good wine and champagne. Uh, that’s kind of a weird sense of humour :! MERRY LATE CHRISTMAS TO YOU TOO! Love you

Boo, LOL! Yes, your time, I assume, comes fom ditching work? Hahaha, you're not too much of a fan of IKEA Boo, too many traumatic memories from crazy swedes? LOL you're tsk-ing me for getting a VG? Yeah, I try making lists, but it's still hard. LOL you think so? and people are really good, aren't they? LMAO, we didn't eat it, god no, we, DAD, *cough* put it in the christmas tree*cough* It's lost a ball too...*cough* OMG really, you eat ischoklad?! When? and that is what you eat at christmas? ok MERRY LATE CHRISTMAS, LOVE YOU*hugs*

Ellen
That is a long blog, I've forgotton most of the things I was going to say
Anyway, lets be insomniacs together Although I think once you get your future sorted you won't be an insomniac anymore
I haven't felt Christmassy either at all this year 'tis quite sad
Big congratulations and jubilations to getting fantastically awesome grades
Those are not Gingerbread houses, they are gingerbread masterpieces , when I laughed at you for making them, I was imaging a small little house with 4 walls and a roof, not villages!
LMFAO at your Dad's Christmas creation! Exactly the thing my dad would do, or maybe me for that matter
Some of your food looks nice, especially those lussakketer things which I have spelt wrong I think . I am pleased to announce I had no traditional English Christmas food this year I had cheese and crackers and pickled onions all day (Me no like traditional English food ) You are only on the second HP (Hehe my initials ). That is the one I started with, I accidently read them in the wrong order . Have fun reading
No House quote?! Yay, no wrong guess Very philosophical quote instead though.
Hugest hugs my dear, and I think this is the longest blog reply I have ever written!

There's nothing like a nice long blog to assauge my boredom! Those gingerbread houses are awesome! But yours is the awesomest. because it has destruction and animals! The other classes in my school made some houses for fundraising, and they were all really cool, though I can't imagine why they ate them afterwards. Nice to hear you got a large load of Christmas presents, I hope you enjoy them!

I LOVE SWEDISH MEATBALLS! I buy them from *ahem* Ikea all the time...

We Chinese don't do/eat anything special at Christmastime, because we don't have a winter holiday. We just get together with our extended family and have a big boiling pot of soup in the middle of the table and cook and eat and cook and eat and talk. Yeah. But I can't really do that here in Canada.
Posted Dec 28, 2008 5:13 pm PT
u should be in the guinness book of world records (took me a while to put this together ) cus u write the longest blogs everrrrrr! but they r fun to read but the bestest part of ur blog is: i love hugh laurie i'd love to read the gun seller

Hayley: LOL, well considering your long comment it doesn't look like you don't remember anything Aww, yeah, sleeping trouble sucks. Hard. *sighs**insomniacs together with Hayley* Yeah. Remember when you were small and it came without even trying?
Thank you!
I. Know. They're f*cking incredible! And we could barely keep ours standing! It kept breaking, and half of everything we did broke before even leaving the oven plate! and LOL yes, I got a lot of 'yeah right's when I was like "It's harder than it sounds! Hahah!
Hahah, yeah, I made a hand, *cough* flipping the finger*cough*
Oh yeah, Lussekatter are amazing! I'll send you some, if you don't mind them being slightly dry from the traveling If you want to I could I have your adress and all anyway
LMAO crackers, no wonder you didn't get into christmas mood!
Yes, only 2nd, stop teasing, I told you the reason why And I'm proud to announce I am almost done with the 3rd now, but I am broke so I won't be able to read the 4th in... A while. And LMFAO, you read the chambers of secrets before!? Silly Hale! Hahah! Wasn't it confusing?
And no, no House quote, Hugh Laurie quote It is very philosophical though, 'innit? *loves her some Hugh*
Love you too hon, and yeah, told ya so *hugs*

Sas: LOL glad to ease your boredom!
LMFAO, cuz of the 'animals and destruction' and LOL yeah, we didn't eat ours afterwards, not because we didn't want to ruin it or anything, but because I simply didn't want to eat something I had been fingering on so much
Yeah I am what did you get?
LOL you get them from IKEA? Don't they taste funny?
Yeah, you have a pretty different culture in China:\ But now you can start celebrating *hugs*

Gix: LOL! Hahah, yaaaaaaaaay! Guinnes book of records is awesome!

Ditching work, meeeeeee? *cough* I would never I love IKEA, but the cafeteria smells… funny I eat ischoklad all the time. They are like 8 cents each or something. We eat those like candy, or marshmallows, they are everywhere in candy shops. I love them At Christmas we eat seafood and then waaay too much of everything else just as in everywhere. Our typical Christmas sweet is called turrón and there are tons of varieties. I like the one with hazelnuts, for example. Huuuuuuuuugs
