Weevil: Man, anime sucks.

Rex: Yeah, except when there's like... naked chicks.

Weevil: Yeah, and explosions. Fire, fire, yeah!

Rex: So, like, pretty much any anime is cool.

I'm sure a lot of other stuff happened this week, I just don't remember it. All this week, I've either been insomniac or going to sleep extremely early.

Our school had its annual "Back to School" assembly. They seem to get worse by year. This year's theme is "TV." The important thing is the clubs. Anime is still there, but there's also a Japanese club this year. What do you think that is?

I took my Algebra II readiness exam and got an 89% on it. If I did well, I might go on ahead to pre-calculus. But I haven't heard anything yet, so I guess I have to sit through this maths.

My English teacher is awesome. He or she is showing us a documentary on who was considered the funniest man in the world by the end of the 19th century.

I'm on the second disc of Tales of Symphonia. After two playthorughs, the game is pretty easy. That Advanced Colosseum is giving me trouble, though.

In anime, I started re-watching Shugo Chara! I'm almost caught up with what's been subbed. A few episodes back, there was also a scene that strongly supported the pairing of a certain couple. It was definitely worth watching.

After Shugo Chara!, I'll continue with Itazura na Kiss. I want to at least finish those two series before the fall anime season starts.

One more thing. Do think that these two are boys or girls? Or one boy and one girl?
Dori and Gura

Their names are Dori and Gura (ignore the guy in the middle) from Utawarerumono. The only clues I'll give you are that:

1) they use "bokutachi," which is a normally a masculine way of refering to oneself, although some girls use it as well; and

2) in one episode, they were looking at feminine jewelry such as pearls and necklaces, although they might be at the curious age for boys.

Well, have fun figuring it out!

The funniest man in the world by the end of the 19th century was

In addition to telling jokes, he was also a very insightful man.

I know this is late, but I wanted to enjoy my three-day weekend off from school.

I spent the entire time on my third play through of Tales of Symphonia. This time, I have to beat a certain boss at a relatively low level. The annoying part is that the game is two discs, and he is the penultimate boss on the first disc (the longer one).

As for school, I haven't acquired a liking to my history or English teacher yet. I have an essay in English and my history homework, I plain just don't like. You cannot learn history or English out of a textbook.

I already know all my other teachers from my past two years, so I'm familiar with their teaching styles and can quickly adapt.

In TV.com news, I made another editorship. This one is for Di Gi Charat (the first series). There's many series out there, but all the episodes are pretty short. I still think tonight is a Party Night, though? Don't you?

One more thing: I've been usually posting my blogs on Friday. This year, I plan to swicth it around a bit. My school blogs will still be on Wednesday, but general blogs will be on Saturday instead.

It's not my favorite thing to do with birds, but it's the topic for this week.

Remember the Di Gi Charat I rented out last week? Well, it turns out that it was Di Gi Charat: Nyo, which is one of the several sequels to the original. I have to watch a few more hours if I want to go in production order. >_>

This week I rented Utawarerumono. It's kind of confusing; it seems to have a really serious plot, but the images show a lot of nekomimi (or something similar). @_@

I've been taking a break from ToS and video games in general. School is starting Monday for me. Which reminds me...

I got back my results from the state testing today. Like last time, I got "Advanced" in all major subjects, but English and World History were not my strong points when it comes to individual sub-categories. But I didn't get anything lower than 63%, so all is well. ^_^

Here's this week's song.

Blue Bird

Again, I don't really like Naruto, but its songs are so catchy.
