Rex: Yeah, except when there's like... naked chicks.
Weevil: Yeah, and explosions. Fire, fire, yeah!
Rex: So, like, pretty much any anime is cool.
Forewarning: there will be an ineffable amount of pictures in this entry. Here's something to listen to.
Some of my teachers have decided to give us our finals this week which is one week before the actual testing. Although I suppose it would facilitate my study time.
In anime, I recently caught to everything I'm currently watching on a wee-by-week basis and I can go back to power-watching. But first, I want to make a list of everything I'm watching so I don't lose track:
Currently Watching:
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: Dub. 2 episodes a week. VHS. Late teens of 27.
Bleach: Dub. 2 episodes a week. VHS. 110s.

Code Geass: Dub. 2 episodes a week. VHS. Late 40s. (Almost done)

Fullmetal Alchemist: Dub. 2 episodes a week. Online. Early 20s.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood: Sub. 1 episode a week. Online. Episode 10 next.
K-On: Sub. 1 episode a week. Online. Episode 10 next.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (season 2): Sub. 1 episode a week (irregular). Online. Episode 2 next.

Hyakko: Sub. Power-watch. Online. Episode 4 of 13.

Suzuka: Sub. Power-watch. DVD. Episode 19 of 26.
Planning to Watch:
Majin Tantei Nogami Neuro: Sub. Power-watch. Online. Episode 3 of 26.
![]()
Grendaier: Sub. Power-watch. Online. From beginning to end (13 episodes).
![]()
Tokyo Babylon: Sub. Power-watch. VHS. From beginning to end (2 episodes).

Some background:
I'm finishing Hyakko and Majin Tantei Nogami Neuro from Anime no Sekai as they were probably the most watch-in-their-entirety series they showed. I have been watching Suzuka for a few months now.
Grendaier is a direct response to just finishing the manga (speaking of which, I'm also reading: Absolute Boyfriend, Chibi Vampire, and Lolita).

And to top it off, my brother said he wanted to watch anime, so I recommended to him Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan and he's currently watching Kodomo no Jikan.

He says he likes those anime in addition to Ranma ˝ so does anyone have any recommendations for something similar?

My excuse for not blogging in three weeks is that I have been so stressed lately. I have a research paper due this week, another one in addition to a presentation due next week, and my final will also be a presentation. I have back pains and I'm insomniac. I've tried sleeping in three different areas and positions, but nothing works. That's why I'm up so late while I write this. But, anyway…
I'm level 24 on TV.com. If I work hard enough, I'll be able to be one of the top 1000 soon.
Anyway, for video games I have nothing new, except that I finished Metroid Fusion. I've also beaten Metroid Prime (Ridley fights are awesome!), so that means I can emulate the classic NES Metroid on my GameCube. Which looks stronger?

I've also been alternating between Pokémon LeafGreen, Crystal, and Platinum, so it gets confusing adjusting to the different battle systems between generations.
I recently watched the OAVs and first manga chapter of Eiken, also known as "the anime that knows no bounds."
Seriously, what other anime can make a 111 cm bust or a girl in a small bikini seem repulsive?
However, if you enjoy ecchi, it has a lot of that. If not, I'd still suggest you watch it because it only has two episodes.
I'm also caught up with Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and I plan to start K-On soon. I have other potential anime on my "to-watch" list, but are there any other good anime playing for the spring 2009 season?
Here are some songs. See if you can name the anime they're from before you click on them.

Thank you.
