I finally went and got the PS3 today. I got the current 80Gb model since I couldn't find anything new with backwards compatability. I was hoping to be able to shelf the PS2 and have more room, but oh well. I picked the console up today with Disgaea 3 and Uncharted.

If I'm missing any great games please let me know, this is what I plan to get in the future(only games currently released): Resistance, Metal Gear Solid 4, Civilization: Revolution, Heavenly Sword, Armored Core: For Answer, and Ratchet and Clank Future.

Most of the great multi platform games I already on the 360 and I've been paying good attention to upcoming games but I may have missed some gems in the two years I've been without a PS3.
