I haven't done much the last few days, except some forum posts. I'm including the stats for the last few days level increases all together, as well as the individual increases. I've been really busy the past few days. My sister and my niece flew home yesterday evening and I've been kind of busy spending time with them and some friends who have been driving down from Orlando every day. I'm still attempting to get caught up on everything else except my queue and forums (under my main ID), which I've checked daily.

It seems that now we're getting approximately 3% per day for nominal activity on the site at this level. This seems to be an improvement over what was happening a while back.

Added during the last 3 days:
00 shows to my favorites.
00 people to my favorites.
00 users to my tracked people (7 are now tracking me, so far).
11 forum posts and blog comments left by me.
01 blog posts.
01 blog comments left on my blogs.

00 reviews posted.
00 episodes rated.

00 submissions made.
00 subs accepted.
00 subs rejected.
00 PMs sent.
00 PMs read.

Previous Level = Level 3.83 (level 3 83%)

Level Day 18 = 3.86
Level Day 19 = 3.90
Level today = 3.93
Increase in level for the above activity = + 0.10

Thanks for the update Ed. I'm sorry I'm so behind on everything. It's frustrating for me. I'm glad you were able to spend time with your sister, though. I hope you and the family are doing ok. I know that sounds kind of stupid, but I don't know how else to say it.

Thanks, Al, my sister and niece were down for four nights and my sister will be back with my nephew this Saturday for four nights . I'm the one who's so far behind on everything. About the only thing I've consistently kept up with are the queue and the almost inactive forums that I moderate. The forum posts and blogs on which I normally stay up to date have only be sporadic at best. We have to remember we're not getting paid to do this and while it's a family of sorts, it's not our paid job or our real flesh and blood family. Sometimes work and family have to take us away from this site, at least to some extent.

It's nice to see some daily increases for just a little work on the site, at least at such low levels. I hope they've taken what was said in the letter to heart and made the level increases a little more noticeable on all levels. On the lower levels, it's really important for the newbies; and for the greatest contributors, it's a token recognition for all the work they do to make the site better for everyone. So what if we eventually get users at level 1,000+, if they get there they've really earned it, even if they make it a little easier to get there.

I'm writing this on gamespot for a change. I actually like the composing window on it a little better, and I love the fact that you can see "NEW" on the new comments on your blogs without having to remember what the last number was for each one. I really wish they'd take all the best features on each site and put them all on all the sites. I really don't like the blogs being the same on all three sites, it makes no sense to me at all. If you're writing non-site related, personal blogs I could see it, but most of us write blogs that are site specific, and it just seems really stupid top have tv.com related blogs on the other two sites! Of course they've also made a real mess of our blogs since they require different things and restrict different things. If they can't (or won't) go back to the way they were, I'm hoping that they at least take the least restrictive standards and allow them on all three. It's really stupid and unprofessional to see coding in place of allowable elements on the other sites because of different standards. I am glad that they at least let us put a heading on our gamespot blogs, I put "My TV.com Blogs - (I don't blog on GameSpot.)" on mine.

EDIT: I also don't like the fact that to put paragraph breaks in GameSpot, you have to put giant gaps in the tv.com blog comments!

You're welcome. Thank you for the update on your family. Yes, you're right that real life takes us away from the site.

I agree about the levels. We shall see if they are working or not as I made 90 submissions this evening. I sure hope I get a decent update for that tomorrow.

I'm writing this at gamespot also. I've discovered a few things here that I really like and wish they do as you suggest and combine all the best features for all 3 sites.

I love that I can show my gender if I wish. I did that here. For some reason, I am unable to change my personal statement, though. I love that we can use our own avatars here. I don't understand why they won't let us do that at the other sites as well.

I agree about the coding. They really need to fix that. Also, you can't view comments past the first 10 at mp3.com. I don't know what happened because you used to be able to view the first 19 only. We lost 9 somehow.

I agree about the "new" display here and also the response window. That's nicer. The only thing I don't know that I'd want at tv.com is the color scheme here. I like it here, but I don't think it would look as good there.

I forgot you could create a header here. It makes sense to do that with the unification. At least people over here will know your blog isn't geared toward this site. I think I'll have a peek at what the users here are saying about the change.

Ok. I thought it was going to look bad here because I had no paragraphs at gamespot.
