E

By now, you must have guessed that i love Eagles. To me Eagles signify Freedom, Patriotism, Strength and the Will to Fight On for what we believe in.

I like to collect Eagle related items of all kinds. At the time i created my GameSpot user name " Eagle5648 " i owned 5648 Eagle related items so i simply added those numbers to the word Eagle.

My new PC has an AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual-Core Processor. It came with Windows Vista Home Premium OS installed on it which only supports Directx 10, making it useless for running most of my games.

To solve this problem i installed a GeForce 7900 GS OC 256MB Graphics Card which supports Directx 9.0c. I Wanted to use the 8800 Graphics Card but there wasn't enough room in this Mid Sized Tower. I also replaced the power supply with an 800 watt PS. By installing these upgrades i can play the majority of PC games available ( I Hope ).

I have access to the various consoles and many of their respective games. I try to stay current on PC and Console games because i do volunteer work for a few Disability Organizations and also individual physically disabled persons. If there's one thing they seem to have in common, they all want to be able to use computers.

As for myself, i received a number of injuries as the result of a car accident. One of these injuries left me with about 50% use of my left hand. Because of my left hand problem it is quite difficult to use the Console Controllers. The PC keyboard is much easier to use. Even with this Console Controller problem i still want to be part of the Console Gamers scene, including games, friends, unions, etc. I also accept all friend requests, but that is up to the individual Gamers.

I admire your will to still want to game, despite your injuries... it's very admirable.

Thanks ogretroll123, I have liked Eagles from a very young age and they are used as a symbol for so many different things.

"I Wanted to use the 8800 Graphics Card but there wasn't enough room in this Mid Sized Tower."

I have a Mid Sized tower too and I didn't know the 8 series cards were that big. I just have a measely 6 series.

I agree with what Zeeky said, you have heart.

My new computer is an HP and there isn't a whole lot of room to maneuver. I was standing right there with the Tech at FutureShop and he was struggling trying to get the 8800 to fit. He could have forced it but i was worried about problems that might crop up later. There are different 8800 series models but he didn't have any others to try. I would have preferred an 8800 because of the amazing power and ability. The 7900 has exceeded my expectations so far but i'm keeping my fingers crossed. I really wanted the 8800 big time. My other PC only had a 5500 so for now, i'm happy. Thanks for the compliment MacRuckus, i'm overwhelmed by the positive comments.

Hey! There you are Homes225. I was waiting for you to drop by and say the words. You're right, Eagles are Boss, Eagles rock and Eagles are the ultimate bird of prey and precision. Something like the F-15 Strike Eagle. Thanks Homes225

cool eagles are my fav animals....actually hawks are.......but close enough
Posted Jun 10, 2007 4:54 pm PT
Falcons are my favourite birds, although I like all stuff like Eagles as well. No prob Eagle Over all favourite animal must be the Camel
Posted Jun 11, 2007 11:20 am PT
Thanks guys, Hawks are cool and i think everyone should have their own Falcon. Come to think of it, if we all had a camel gas prices might drop but we would need one heck of a big pooper scooper wouldn't we? I better stop talking now before i really get confused. Thanks again finalfan789 and Whacy_Mac, and of course, everybody else on GameSpot.

No problem again, well we could have bags put over their asses, that might work actually, then they wouldnt get aroused "How you getting to work?"
"I will take my two camels."
"Two camels?! You are very rich"
Posted Jun 12, 2007 9:16 am PT
There could be a potential problem if you had to work overtime. The bags could get very heavy and quite large so you might have to walk your camels home. You would also need a Plan B if there was a massive bag rupture while walking your camels home. If you did make it home without any problems you are very rich and most likely thought to build a two camel garage?

Yesh, a small puddle of water, they can carry alot, as well as fat injectors

Thanks to Games for Windows Live and the new Vista games (Halo 2 and such), you might not have to worry about the console thing as much. Don't let anything slow you down. Just keep on keepin' on.

Thanks MjolnirMaster51, i appreciate the comment.

No problem, man. That's what friends are for
(sounds cheesy, but I mean it)
Posted Jun 25, 2007 10:08 pm PT
It doesn't sound cheesy at all, it's great to have friends to boost you up and throw a few suggestions around, shoot the breeze, or talk about nothing " whatever that means". I've managed to get Call of Duty 2 working great on Vista Premium. I'll try FEAR next. Later
Posted Jun 26, 2007 5:16 pm PT
Well, I didn't mean 'cheesy' so much as I meant 'cliche'. Sorry, I should have been clearer on that. Congratz on getting CoD2 to work on Vista. I can't even get CoD3 to work when it's working, if you know what I mean
