Friday, the demo for Batman: Arham Asylum released on LIVE and I could not wait to play it. Seeing as the demo size is 1.58 GB I was glad to know it was a decent sized demo. And after playing the actual game, I could not even begin to tell you on how thrilled I am to get my hands on the actual game. The game played extremely well and looks beautiful. The attacks and combos move fluidly, and Batman uses all of his tech and special abilities as you would come to expect from a well made Batman game. So, for any of you having any doubts, throw it out the window as I can tell you that from what I have played, this will be the game of the summer.
Also, I pre-ordered a load of games Thursday. Here is a list of the games that I pre-ordered at both Gamestop and Amazon:

This is just what I preordered on Thursday, and don't include any of the others I already have (Halo ODST, Modern Warfare 2, etc.). How I'm gonna come up with this money I have no idea.
Comments
@Cloud551: Indeed, but it was still a decent size in general. I believe the reason for the gigantic size was due to the Unreal Engine.
@polsci1503: It's definately really good and I really am looking forward to the actual game. I also am pre-ordering Forza 3 for the bonuses and also Gamestop is the only one with the collector's edition. And Bioware games always leave me happy.
@Ovirew: I hardly ever have problems finding games on day one also, but I pre-order strictly because of what you said; free bonus stuff. Plus I'm one of those morons that love to have the game on day one. And why not score with the free stuff if I already know I'm going to buy it no matter what, you know?
@johnsteed7: Nah, they won't be in short supply but the reason why I pre-order everything is for the reason Ovirew said, free stuff. Take for example how Batman comes with bonus missions if you pre-order and some things come with t-shirts etc. It's the idea of getting free content and things. Also, games like Wet for example have a bonus in where if you pre-order it you get $10 knocked off the price, so I'll be getting it for $49.99.
Metroid Prime Trilogy? Do you have the three of them as standalone products? If not than MP Trilogy will really be worth it, but if you already have them on GC then I wouldn't even bother.
@NeonNinja: I think it will definately correct that problem. I did have all three of the metroid games at one point but sold the first two, which I later regretted. I kept the 3rd but once I got news of this, I sold it and got $26 for it. So I will definately be picking this up now and now with the convenience of one disc and also being able to play the first two with the new controls and in 480p (who needs 1080p, right?.....right?
