So I've been kind of bummed that all my shows are over for the season, but of course ecstatic that I'm done with high school. I'm even more excited now though, after hearing great news about a few of my shows.

1. Cabot is staying on SVU - Anyone who knows me, knows that I have an unnatural obsession with her. SVU hasn't been the greatest lately, but as long as Cabot's there, I'll be watching.

2. The House premiere is going to be two hours and is being directed by Katie Jacobs - Well obviously I love House and two hours is clearly better than one hour. Plus I love Katie Jacobs....she better not let me down!

3. Futurama is back! - I only discovered how wonderful Futurama is after it was already cancelled, so I'm really excited for some new episodes. Personally, I think it's the best adultish cartoon out there.

Yeah I realize I haven't been very consistent with my blogging. My bad. I'm not sure anyone really reads them anyway, but I'll just pretend. I was inspired to blog again after last week's episodes of SVU and ER. They just left me feeling so... nostalgic. Hence the entry title

First off, Cabot was back on SVU, which was freaking fantastic. I didn't actually watch SVU when Cabot was on, but it felt nostalgic all the same. She's just as awesome as I remember, maybe even more so. Plus her wardrobe has much much improved since then, so that definitely helps. I was a bit upset that she had been out of witness protection for 3 years and hadn't bothered to stop by, but I can't stay mad, I just love her too much. I only hope we get to see her rip Greylek new one, that would totally make my year.

And as far as ER. Man, I've just been a wreak. ER and I go way, way back. I've been watching faithfully since the show first came on. I was about 3, probably too young to be watching, but my mom always covered my eyes for the bad parts. So I basically grew up with the show. Most of my happiest childhood memories involve my mom, sister, and I all watching ER together. We bonded and I well, bonded with the show. It sounds crazy, but the original cast felt like family. I can remember being really young and asking my mom to take me to County General when I was sick. I live in Chicago so it made sense to me lol. But so anyway, seeing Ross, Hathaway, and Benton on ER was phenominal. Ross was looking fine as ever! And Carter and Benton were so funny together. I only wish they could have been back at County like the good old days. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with myself when the show actually ends. It's stupid, but it feels like my childhood is ending with it. Well, technically it is. I'm graduating in just a few short months. Of course I'm happy, but I'm just not sure if I'm ready to grow up.

For those of you who don't know... I have an unhealthy obsession with Alex Cabot from SVU. She's pretty much God's gift to prosecution. She's like the greatest person...ever. Needless to say, I'm so pumped for miraculous return in February that I can barely function!
