On Fathers Day we went to a Japanese restaurant and I had salmon terriaki. I had some restaurant coupons that were expiring soon so I went to one place on Wednesday and had crab cakes. The next day at another restaurant I had coconut shrimp. On Friday, I went to a funeral and back at the house they had lox and tuna salad. Saturday I went to a graduation party and had sushi.

At the house after the funeral the parking was tight and I tapped the bumper of the guy behind me. He was watching out his window and called the police. The officer let us make a deal and I paid the guy a little for the scratch that might have been there before. So, the money I saved by using the coupons was negated.

It's only a little. About the weight of one molar. It's been cracked for a couple years and kept getting infected. So it was extracted today.

The actual extraction was painless. I'm now waiting for the novacaine to wear off. I have a long list of post-procedure instructions and possible complications to worry about.

Theoretically, I'll get an implant to replace the tooth. I don't know if there is any reason not to do that, except for the cost.

The tooth had had a root canal and a crown a few years ago. I don't know if the dentist might have weakened the tooth more than he should have. I wonder if all the money for that was wasted.

I have over 100 hours of shows from April and May that I still have to watch. The numbers are the hours, not the episodes. These are all on TiVo. In no particular order:

In addition to the shows I listed, I also have the entire run of "The Sopranos" to watch (except for the 1st 6 episodes, which I have seen). I also have all of "Mad Men", "Rescue Me", "Everybody Hates Chris", "The Game", "Wildfire", "Beautiful People"

As you can see, I will never catch up.

Yes, I'm nuts.

Last week I had an endoscopy and they found a hiatal hernia and gastritis. I'm taking a proton-pump inhibitor for that with mixed results. The doctor thinks the gastritis is caused by stress.
