So, I didn't really take that many great pictures from PAX, but next year will be better. It was my first time at a video game convention, I felt a little overwhelmed trying to see everything and get pictures. But, here's what I did get. Nothing special...some Street Fighter characters and a few posters...

Here's me looking like a tard with a somewhat dissapointing Chun Li. Ah well, at least SOMEBODY dressed up like her. For those who don't know, which is probably all of you, I play Street Fighter IV and my main character is Chun Li.

Here's one of me and Cammy from Street Fighter and Pipboy from Fallout 3.

More Street Fighter...this time it's C. Viper from Street Fighter IV beating up my friend Allen, and Akuma beating up my boyfriend Jacob.

C. Viper posing for the camera

Jacob and Allen playing Halo 3 ODST

and finally, a pic of the Champions Online poster...

I'm a bit disspointed that I took very few pictures, but like I said, next year will be better. PAX is held at the Convention Center here in Seattle, which is about 30 mins to walk and a 10 min bus ride. Very convenient. I didn't really play any games, besides a few Street Fighter IV matches with some people.

I did buy Femme Fatale TE fightstick, which I was very excited about. I also got a Chun Li doll, Street Fighter shirt, and a bunch of other shirts and posters. All in all, it was well worth the $50 for three days. I wish I had more to share, but that's it really. Oh, we saw Adam Sessler having a cigarette outside...he just as much of a jerk as I thought he'd be. Anyway, thanks for reading this lame post. Till next time.

Getting ready to head out for the second day of PAX 2009. I'll be posting some pictures either tomorrow or Monday, so be on the lookout.

Just watched Meryl Streep's interview on The Colbert Report. I love her so much, and she was so shy and sweet during the interview I couldn't help the big grin on my face while watching. I'll watch anything with her, and I can't wait to see Julie & Julia!

After the interview I downloaded the Batman: Arkham Asylum demo on XBL. Good stuff, I might not buy the game right when it comes out but I know I will eventually. To my fellow XBLers, I recommend checking the demo out. I assume PSN has the demo too, so if you've got a PS3 you should do the same. Sorry, Wii folk, that's what you get for buying a Wii.

One last thing. I used to be involved in a few music projects back in the day and I'm thinking about possibly getting back into it. I have a ton of demos I recorded a while back and am thinking it's about time I do something with them. If anybody wants to hear some music I did with my ex boyfriend about five or so years ago, you can check out our Myspace page. We recorded four songs together on his p.o.s. eMachine computer with some cheap multitrack equipment, so hopefully the 'lo-fi' theme isn't too distracting. My favorite of the four tracks is 'Tookie Williams.' Check it out and let me know what you think.

Also, FAU: Film Appreciation Union is growing steadily, check it out and say hi on the board! We all made our own sigs to represent the union, so hopefully it'll help catch more people's attention on the boards. A Netflix Union has been dead for a while despite the polls, threads, and my attempt at promoting the union in the forums. I'm considering shutting it down, but I want to wait a little while longer and see how things turn out. Anyway, hope you all have a great weekend!

Some people just don't have opinions. Like Droymac.
Droymac must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could Droymac possibly have for not rating a single film?
