So I was browsing the Redesign Feedback board yesterday and I came across and new topic about a user proposing a strike of all CNet sites from Oct.1 to Oct.7. My initial thought was; "Great another retard trying to force something that won't even happen." Well upon reading the topic, my initial thought was mostly correct. A few posts here and a few posts there, nothing much has changed. The person still doesn't get that their wasting their time. So I've decided to support this person. By "support" I mean, log on like usual and take care of the guides owned by the people who decide to particpate, lol.

Well on to other things, I am using IE7 as my browser again. What made Google Chrome so fast, made it kinda sluggish on my unhealthy 2 bar barely there signal. Thus I am forced to use my true browser (note: If anyone is thinking of recomending Firefox, don't. I do not like Firfox since it froze my system for 5-10 minutes several times.).

I have made some modifications to my signature. I removed some other quotes for;

"Add some bite to that bark, that is, if you like bitting with toothless gum"
"Life is not about getting what you want, but having with what you got. So deal with it and shut up!"
"A complaint heard twice is a complaint to many."
"The Internet is NOT a democracy. It's a dictatorship."

I sort of have a feeling that there aren't going to be to many comments following this blog. My guess is that I get 3 at the most(that are not mine) and lose 4 or 5 people who say they are my friends.

Espen: I would use it for my standard browser, but I just prefer having toolbars. Also, Chrome was too slow on my computer. When I get my own cable line for internet, then it would be better to use.

I have started replying to comments in my blogs more ofter, so after you have posted, check back a little while later, I may have replied to your comment.

So I had a little difficulty deciding what image I wanted to use from pixiv, after some thought I decided to use this one:

Unfortunetly I can't post their username because there is a character in their name I can't find the html code for. So here's a link to the image itself. (As usual you must have an account to view the full image)

Yeah I heard about that. I may hate the changes and what the site back, but the staff ignores us when we ask for the previous layout, and I can't due to being an editor. Overall it is pointless.

SPD: I don't think the staff has any control over site redesigns.

I hate the new site, but I'm not stupid enough to risk my editorships over it I've already given up trying to persuade a change, got gamespot for blogging, besides once a week check on my guides I'm already done with tv.com

atlantis: You wouldn't loose your EDs just for being gone fore a week. It'll take around a week and a half for that to happen.

Well, I've found one thing that's bad about Google Chrome. It doesn't have the small search thingy that Firefox had in its top-right corner, where I could select from a number of search sites that I'd chosen myself and search directly from there. Now I have to first go to the site, then search.

Yes I know I'm lazy, and I really hate wasting more time than I need to, even if it's a second or two =P

I don't think I'll be taking a break from the site, seeing as I hang a lot on the Bleach forum, and I like submitting to the site. Through my massive amount of willpower, I'm capable of putting up with the horrible new site design =P

Maybe not, but the redesigners don't listen, and the staff makes it seem like they don't give our feedback to them.

I saw that blog about the whole "strike against CNET sites" as well. Hopefully, it won't happen.

Espen: I really don't care what search engine I use. As long as it gives me a result I am looking for, I am good with using it. I don't hang out on any forums really. I only come here to submit and post blogs.
SPD: What are they supposed to say to us; "We told them what you guys though, but we're not sure if they will listen or not"?
anthony: Oh it will happen, and those people will be offline while people take shots and their guides(if they got any).

bloo: Yeah I know, just haven't gotten around to downloading the beta.

That person's an idiot. Loose friends, why Good luck with Google Chrome.

I don't think the CNET sites care what we think
That is the only bad thing about Google Chrome, is no toolbars

BTW my McAfee expires soon any good virus protection programs you would recommend?

lyoko: Because the new additions are somewhat directed at the people of the Feedback forum. Especially this one: "A complaint heard twice is a complaint to many."
Hiyono: That is a little annoying as well. I need my Yahoo toolbar or else I won't ever check my mail. I checked it yesterday and the last message I read was one I received the day before I started using Chrome. Don't really mess with virus programs, so I can't really offer one.

Oh come on, join! It will be on Sept. 30. You'll probably get on because no one wants you to.
Posted Sep 26, 2008 7:21 pm PT
How come the emoticons don't show anymore O_O

They're gone. As for Gone Dark and alla that, nothin' will happen for real. There are thousands of users on this site and if a handfull participate no dent will be made. Besides after alla the hard work to make the site worse, they're not going to change it back so soon.

I think I poorly worded that. It's more like sites I can search on rather than a search engine which is used to find information across the entire Web. Like Isohunt, Animenewsnetwork, Urbandictonary and so on

I'd keep pushing for the fixes to restore functionality. If there's anything I learned from Dragonball Z Season Six, it's to persist.

I didn't hear about that strike, but I heard about the one for Sept. 30th. I don't know if I participated b/c I can't remember if I logged in. I probably logged in at least once.

Yay!!! An IE supporter!!! My bf keeps trying to get me to use Firefox...and I kind of do now because of the add-ons, but I still tell him that I use IE. Firefox has frozen on me several times, but not as bad as IE is. My Firefox browser has the Japanese mascot's theme, and I can set it so that it translates Japanese if I run my mouse over it. I still use IE every once in a while...also IE is more appealing to look at.

lyoko: They say something did get changed, but I highly doubt it. I have seen no changes and the message from danmod that Glenn has in their profile, I doubt that is real. danmod would have created a blog about and just Copying/Pasting the so called message makes me doubt it even more since it isn't a screencap. I want a screencap of the message what Glenn has.

Hiyono: I dunno. Really don't use em, so it doesn't bother me.

Espen: Oh, ok.

Angus: The fixes will come. You just have to be patient. I am an extremely impatient person, yet I am will to wait for them to fix everything.

P_G: I made sure I logged in. I had a hard time getting on, but I made sure to log in that day. An IE supporter through and through.

I must find the firefox add-on now O_O
Posted Oct 5, 2008 4:10 am PT
Hiyono: The one P_G has?
