I had a very old PC, Pentium 4 1.8Ghz, 80GB HD IDE, 512MB PC 133 RAM. and 128 Gfx card

Being an avid gamer I couldn't play the latest games out there so I decided to upgrade it to

Pentium D 3.0Ghz

250GB HD SATA

1GB RAM DDR2 533Mhz

256MB Grafx card

So basically I'm very happy with it, I wanted to go Core  2 duo but it's still too expensive for me. Pentium D seems the next best thing, for about 1/4 the price.

So I can now play most new games out there, I'm a regular BF2 player, now I can choose high quality grafx, get no lag, and the maps load very fast (about a minute for new map)
