I was sick with the flu the other week and played a few simple not-too-taxing games that are very addictive.

For the Wii I've been playing Tetris Party. Pretty fun and you can play against other people around the world.

For the PS3 there is Bejeweled 2. It's not too hard to gain most of the trophies. The last couple are quite challenging though. I've played Bejeweled on my PALM and it was much easier with a stylus and touch screen. Having to use the controller makes it a bit more difficult to do things quickly, but the PS3 version is still quite fun.

The Wii also has MyAquarium. It's more of an interactive picture. You can customize your 6 tanks with different backgrounds, objects, and fish. It's basically a prettyscreen-saver but it is nice for younger kids who want something to play but can't handle the more challenging stuff.

If you don't want a highly demanding game and just want to chill out for a few minutes at a time I'd suggest checking out these games.

I just got a Wii yesterday. So far it's pretty darn cool.

Easy menus and a nice clean look.

The Wiimote takes a little getting use to. It is very sensitive and hard to control when trying to click on little buttons on-screen. I got it mostly for my 4 year old daughter as there weren't a lot of kid games for the PS3. After about 10 minutes of frustration with the controller she caught on and is having loads of fun!

I see most games are $50. To me, that's a lot but there are cheaper ones out there. If it's worth it is another story though. It all really depends on how you like the game.

I just got my Playstation 3! So far I am amazed. It is a great machine.

I got it mostly for the multi media aspect of it as I'm not a huge gamer. OOOOPS!! Can I say that here.

Blu-ray movies look superb. It runs very quiet so as not to disturb you while using it. It plays Xvid files and MP3 with no trouble. I haven't tapped into nearly half of what this puppy can do but I'm already satisfied with my purchase. All this and I haven't even played a game yet.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like DoctorXombie.
DoctorXombie must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could DoctorXombie possibly have for not rating a single film?
