Hello!

Again, it's been quite a while...seems to become some kind of bad habit for which I feel the need to apologize...I'm sorry folks! Since the last blog, I've been to a couple of concerts (Ólafur Arnalds (very nice concert) and Sigur Rós (a bit different from the previous times; it wasn't bad, but they became a bit more mainstream; I kind of missed the intensity and intimacy of previous gigs), I went to Amsterdam with my old flatmates (although the weather was horrible we did have had a nice time together) and I'm about to have an evaluation at work (something I'm not really looking forward to; I'll have to explain the way I work with my patients to my boss and her boss…thinking about it alone gets me nervous).

I'm working this weekend and also on Christmas eve AND Christmas day…but around the New Year period I'll be at home. Not sure yet how I'll spend my time; I'm not too keen on all the festivities that go along with the end of the year period.

Next Friday there's another gig on the agenda: I'll attend Berg Sans Nipple (for the 3rd time). You can listen to one of my favourite songs of theirs (A New Soul) here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OhX1uk20cE

Anyway, next time I hope I will be able to write a more inspired blog…

Last but not least; some pics;

Nice pics, as always. We don't usually do anything exciting either, when it comes to New Year's Eve. What a big group of pigeons! Have a good weekend.

Working through Christmas can't hurt your evaluation! Nice pics, and that is a very lovely hat!

Finally, she's back in touch with us!! Missed your blogs, your musical advice and most of all: your pictures! They are the best, again! Hope you are fine and will do fine in your evaluation. I feel confident, so you must do the same Elke! Good luck!

claudette: thank you very much *blush*. The only positive thing about New Year this year, is that since more than a year, I have 7 days off of work . The pigeons were being fed by a mother and child at one of the squares in Amsterdam; guess that's why there were so many of them have a nice week! :-).

jesse: i hope my willingness to work through christmas has no influence on the evaluation though thanks...oh, and the hat is quite warm; just what i needed in cold cold amsterdam .

lau: i know! it's been a long time...don't know why...it's just quite busy; when i'm working a late shift, i'm at home at 22.30 and it happens regularly that the next morning i have to get up at 6.30 for an early shift; tend to spend less time on internet so it seems i'll do my very best to come back more often, cause really; i kind of miss you guys as well!
