today's our last day of exams! i'm glad it's all done. i find some of them hard. especially those with scrambled letters. tomorrow, i think we'll check our papers and we'll see the results. then on saturday, we have to go to school. we will go to a church to celebrate "la naval".. do you know that? if you're catholic maybe

yesterday, i opened my mail and clicked on the spam messages.. and i saw this:

it's oct. 4 here, but i think it's still 3 there (or somewhere ) so..
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ASHLEE SIMPSON!! she's now 24 yrs. old


and tomorrow (oct.5), it's my mom's birthday.. it's also the wedding anniversary of my mom & dad!!!

here's the list of my top 5 changes

1) they should have more blogs shown on the "my tracked blogs"
2) smileys must work on the comments & in "my story" on the about me part
3) the font size must be a bit bigger & darker contrasting the white background so it would not be hard for our eyes
4) they must show more than one person or show on the favorites and allow us to rank them
5) they should allow us to edit our reviews & the rating we gave for a show or person

i got the 5th place in the editorial writing category. i'm really happy
the topic was "should the catholic church interfere with the passing of the reproductive health bill?" ..something like that. i wasn't even sure what the bill was about. i think there's something to do with birth control. i even forgot to put a title. at least i won 1 of the 3 categories i joined. i know i didn't do a great job on the newswriting 'cause i don't the the names & the place, and i spelled delegates "deligates" on the editorial cartooning, it was about having sex education in philippine high schools. it was hard for me and i couldn't think of a better illustration but a teacher showing the word sex on the board with students having different reactions. anyways.. what matters most is that i'm 5th place!!

our periodical exam is next week! please, pray for all of us who will take the exam. thanks

hey guys! how are you all?

it's avril lavigne's birthday!! she's 24 years old.


on the 28th, it's hilary duff's b'day!!

on monday, i will be on a journalism contest that will be held in another school. i don't know if it's rizal high school.. all i know is that it's in pasig, but i know you don't know that place so nevermind.
i'm a member of the dominican achiever, our school's school paper organization.. it reminds me of the suite life's episode "ask zack" when cody gets zack a job as shirley for the school paper. because we're members, we have to join the contest. our moderator assigned to join the news writing, editorial writing, and editorial cartooning. last year, i was assigned in the filipino category.. it was hard for me 'cause i find writing in english much easy. i assigned to join the feature writing, sports writing, and editorial cartooning. i wasn't able to do the sports writing 'cause it was the same schedule as feature writing.. so i chose feature writing. i'm not a fan of sports. i didn't win last time so i'm hoping i could win just one of those three. wish me luck i aslo wish that my fellow achievers win.

btw, because of the change in tv.com.. i was thinking of changing my banner, personal image, and my signature.. so i'll start doing it now. toodles!
