A Gamer and Geek(yes and proud of it), I've been playing games since the age of 4 starting with the Atari 2600 and the Commodore 64. Moved up to the Nintendo NES, which I still have, and later bought the Gameboy(the original with black and white and built like a toaster). Then years later I was able to make the move to the SNES, the Sega Genesis and the Gameboy color. I also used the Amiga freqently at this point as a gaming machine. Sooner or later(actually quite some time later) I got a Playstation(the Original, no 'one' or any designation after the consoles name). I was already a fan(still am) of Sony products and the purchase made sense. I did not hear about the Dreamcast until later when it went under and took Sega's consoles with it. Then came the horrid PS2 which I assumed would be better than the Original. Not so, except for in the graphics area. The thing was supposed to play Audio and Video(CD's and DVD's) and it did... for a time. I still have the thing for the 50% of the games it will play but it will not play the original PS Disks or CD's or DVD's anymore. Thus the reason I have the Xbox which feels to me to be the ultimate gaming console(Even with the release of the Xbox 360... and the fact that I really have no foundness whatsoever for Microsoft). I also have a farely nice PC to play the occasional game on as well. That's my gaming history in the nutshell.
