Wednesday I had to go to my assignment with a pile of kleenex, my cough syrup and some tylenol, lol, omg. Fortunately, in the 3 and a half hours, I managed to sneeze only 3 times, and by the 3 hour mark, I started coughing. Bah. Good thing we were almost done then, and fortunately, I'm only needed for the occasional blank stare of "I didn't understand that" plus forms.

Yesterday, I spent the day finishing the 100-something word list and notes for my presentation, which didn't happen. One girl brought the baby to c1ass, disruption for the win. Three of us were coughing up a lung, me included. I was supposed to be the third presentation of the evening, but the second never happened because the first took forever with the ethical dilemmas that were so simple to solve, but she just wasn't getting. Not to mention to say something, she goes around and around... and around... And her quiz was so grammatically incorrect that I couldn't help but laugh. Though I found out that there is also some exam for translator certification, I'll be looking into that as well.

I got a bunch of DS games today too, not sure where am I going to find time for all this: Igor, Rhapsody, Disgaea DS (I hope they don't say too much DOOD in there), Legend of Kage 2. And I have this Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader for PC, which is probably going to make me feel super dumb, since I'm guessing my 5th grade was totally different due to, you know, being in a totally different country at the time!

Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull was cool Very much like the old movies, I liked it - and don't care if you tell me it was cheesy, the others were too and I still like them.

I love these all-in-one cold & flu medicines, how did I manage without them before? My only worry is to be able to speak clearly enough for the interpreting assignment, I don't want to reschedule and they didn't want another interpreter, so I really must go. All the chest symptoms are gone though, so now it's all in my nose, which is pretty icky to say the least... Must remember to stock up on kleenex.

Wow, seriously, the flu can eat me. I spent yesterday rushing to the bathroom with dry heaves (no vomiting, just feeling like I had to on occasion), coughing up a lung, barely able to speak... My chest hurt so bad too Spent the day on tea and crackers.

Bought some cough syrup and one of those all-in-one cold&flu medicine, felt a bit better a few hours after taking the first pill and some syrup. Side effect of the syrup: dizzyness... bah. At least by night time I was able to say whole sentences without my voice disappearing. I'm just worried about getting better for wedneday's assignment, plus school presentation on thursday. And this all because the air conditioner was on at school! Bah!
