Well I got the GOW3 demo, and my god its amazing. I love how all the people on the GOW3 forum are argueing and getting angry at the demo for having graphical glitches or other random flaws, when to be honest I thought it looked perfectly well and to be honest I would be very glad if that is what the final game looked and played like. It was wonderful.
In other news I'm getting a new guitar. Its kinda strange because its semi custom, as in its already got custom parts but is sold as a stock from the manufacturer. Or atleast thats what I read "semi-custom" as. Either way it's a freaking sweet stratocaster shaped guitar and sounds like a beauty. Thankfully I'm getting better and better so this little baby will help me even more. I suppose I can call it an early xmas present from myself :p
And about the new games. One that I've pre-ordered is coming out next friday. and that game is DBZ raging blast. After playign the demo I wasn't impressed but i want the game, and I found it really cheap so I see why not, because i did enjoy the older tenkaichi games. The other game I want isn't so new, and thats DBZ burst limit. Got the demo for that and was genuinly pleased by the gameplay and also the aesthetics. Maybe I'll get burst limit for xmas that way I'm juggling 2 DBZ games around. I still have NFS shift to finishand I recently got a free NES game thanks to Nintendo. I chose Super Mario Bros. 3. BRILLIANT GAME! and its older than I am. Shows how damn innovative Nintendo are and why no-one should ever underestimate them in anyway.
Well thats me, I'm done for now byebye

Well I was talking to my friend the other day about getting a DSi, but then thought well my DS lite is working fine and im going to keep it anyway for the gameboy slot, and then we discussed about Nintendo announcing another DS console which felt like for some reason was inevitable. We agreed there would be no news till atleast E3 or TGS next year, and now this has come up! The DSi XL.
The funny thing is this has made me decide to buy the normal DSi. Because there isn't any new features other than larger screens. I'm going to sit on this news for a while though. I'd like to see what if anything is better about the thing. Although looking at the size of it compared to the DSi, I decided I'd rather have the console that could fit in my pocket, its all good being bigger but if I can't get it around easily whats the pont of it being a portable console.
Basically I'm wondering if what Nintendo is doing is even worth it? I'm extremely sceptical about their decision to make this instead of making a sort of DS 2 or whatever. I'm sure it won't affect their profits but what is the point? It's unfortunate thats theres very little news.
I suppose we could say, watch this space. I wonder if they'll announce an amazing new feature etc. if not then... well... dissapointing.

Well Shift has actually suprised me. The full game is completely different to the rubbish demo. I would actually recommend a purchase for this game. Its fun. And theres a great sense of achievement and accomplishment while racing through the career mode. Anyways, in my last blogI talked about pictures of my RX7, and I have taken them. I used the in-game photo mode and when uploaded to needforspeed.com the image is severly distorted from what it looked like on thetv, but thats not unusual seeing as they are probably trying to cut bandwith. Not only that, when downloaded the image has been tampered with. It had unusual colours, and basically all the blues and reds were inverted. Very annoying, a type of copyright I guess. But with my design wizardry I was able to restore the images to the right colour, and I also severly decreased the size of the image to upgrade the quality, which unfortunatly lets down on the detail but at normal size the detail wasn't really that greatanyway. So here is my car:

By the way, this is me boosting it around Silverstone GP race track. I've actually been there. And in the final image (just above) I was situated where the yellow banner is (just to the left of the car) Obviously not when this was taken, but when the Formula 1 cars were doing a practice day. It was a great day. Unfortunatly I have no pictures of the event because our home computer crashed and wiped the Hard-drive! Either way I'm off to rest because I've obtained the flu and need rest before work later, hope you enjoy what I've done with the RX7 due to the limited yet sort ofextensive customization options.
