Believe it or not...yes, gaming and a love life can coexist.

I'm living proof.

I'm grateful for the fact that I'm dating (and intending to marry) a gamer girl. While her and I may not share the same tastes in games, the fact and I don't have to lock my collection away in a closet to prevent a psychotic wench from destroying my highly valuable collection when she's mad at me helps tremendously.

There's always a game you can share in, however.

For me, luckily, that game is Guitar Hero. My girlfriend hates to play it because she, by her own admission, sucks at it, but she loves to sit back and watch me play, because I impress here with my Guitar Hero skills. I, on the other hand, get my ass beat everytime her and I play Dance Dance Revolution. I, by my own admission, suck at DDR and feel like such a tool when I'm playing it.

The point is that we share in something we love individually, but would gladly share it with the one special someone we love.
