Last Monday on my anniversary, I traded in my DS Lite for a DSi in Gamestop. So I got $70 value for my DS Lite for the $170 DSi which actually saved me $10 overall since I got my DS Lite for $130. I also didn't add the value of having the DS lite for 3 years already plus the satisfaction of getting a new one, especially at gamestop.

Wow, I wonder if you could trade a regular Xbox for a 360. Now that would be a good trade!

Does the DSi still only play games back to the GBA?

It doesn't play GBA games. Only DS games. It's a shame they got rid of this feature.

I would have bought one except I'd loose my GBA port and I hate downloading shareware type games for consoles.
