Hope everyone had a good weekend!
I had a wonderful - if busy - one myself.
Saturday, I went out to lunch, then spent two hours in a wedding dress shop. My friend is getting married next February, and since we had a meeting at her grandmother's house that afternoon, we decided to get some wedding chores done. Not only did I chose my dress (see below, but that's DEFINITELY not me
), but she tried on close to a dozen dresses herself. We narrowed it down to three. In two weeks, she's hitting some other shops.

We also checked on two possible reception places - a golf course club and a hotel - and have pretty much decided on the hotel. We talked about the menu, the church, the flowers.
Everything except the fact that she should NOT be getting married.
But who am I to decide that? I'm only the maid of honor.
Sunday, I had a baby shower to go to for my friend Sam who is due in three weeks with her second child. We had pizza and chocolate cake, and I got a few pics before my camera batteries died. It was a lot of fun, especially since I hadn't seen the girls in a while (they were my friends from my last customer service job). And I got to meet Sam's daughter Emma, who is a character.
Now I'm crashing, at least until tomorrow when I have a job interview (for a job I'm almost guaranteed to get, because my aunt is a supervisor there).
Happy Monday, everyone!

Ooooh, pretty dress! I'm with We3,being a bridesmaid is fun except for the planning the shower/bachelorette party. Women are a pain in the ass to agree on those type of plans.
How was the interview?

That's actually a pretty dress in a pretty color. You lucked out bigtime!!
(Remember the scene in "Buffy" when one saw a close-up of Buffy and Willow discussing what seemed to be demonic monsters? They said,"I've never seen such ugly arms before! It's hideous!" The camera pulled back revealing they were bridesmaids discussing their dresses, which were later described as "radioactive" in color.)
