Altaïr lurks in the shadows, silent as a mouse. Suddenly, a faint whiny can be heard. Altaïr turns around and stares into the face of a horse.

I AM NOT YOUR MOTHER! He yells at the horse, and suddenly he is surrounded by guards. *bleep* he thinks.

Been playing assassin's creed, and finally it's a bit fun I don't get motion sick as I did when I started the game (don't know why) and I've reached Jerusalem, after hours of riding around and trampling down guards on my faithful horse(s). I love climbing on walls as well, so I spend hours in the cities just running from guards like another Freakazoid, trying to find my way around in the B.C urban areas.

So, today, I decided to play a bit more AC, and stop my fishing mania on WoW. So I was lurking the shadows, and suddenly I notice that the horse I just abandoned, so I could scale another view point-tower, is following me AROUND! At first I thought "that's gotta be a glitch..." because I had died in combat, thanks to legions of french guards saying "sacre bleu, un assasín!"

The Doctor and his beautiful assistant, Arthur.

ANYWAYS! The horse followed me... I gave the screen an extra stare and then shrugged it off, jumping onto the horse and moving on.

I also stabbed a monk with my hidden blade, but NOOOOOOO, he decided to DODGE! And then he continued to whoop my ass with his bigass broad sword. Since when did christian monks learn to fight like Shaolin monks?

-rant-

So, apparantly it seems that animals like me in games.. maybe too much at times. I should just quit games containing animals, because they WILL give me away, if I'm hiding in a bush or a stack of hay.

...dumb horses *grumble*

Don't remember the horse following me, never really spent much time in Kingdom. I was always getting guards to chase me up to the roofs then throwing them into the streets

Assassin's Creed bored me unfortunately...

Monk? Don't you mean Templar? You're not supposed to stab monks in the game.

I had horses follow me after riding them for a bit... personally I think they did a good job with the horse riding mechanic. Funny story you have there, though.

And like Yagr said, I think you decided to pick a fight with a Templar Knight, not a monk. They're the ones who are gonna be yelling at you in French but feel like unadulterated violence is the best answer... and there's a set amount of them in the Kingdom. Dunno if the PS3 version has trophies, but there's an achievement for killing all of them in the 360 game. I should go back and do that, along with all of those stupid flags. >_>

Probably coincidental, but The Ring is on TV as I type this.

I was killing that Doctor Monk from the british city before Jerusalem(or after, I just chose to do that one first) and he pwned me. He looked like a monk, not a templar xP

AND I STAB WHATEVER I WANT TO!!!!!!!! *annoyed*

I really like the horse riding mechanic, it reminds me of when I used to ride. I feel strangely alive when I run on rooftops, on my horse, too. Lol at the guards who follow me, and I trample them down

The game was a let-down for me. Fun for a few hours but nothing special.

Some games are just repetetive, and plain not fun, but I can have hours of fun with games like Assassin's Creed and GTA and stuff. Free movement ftw.

So you don't like horses? Just answer yay or neigh.

I guess you were saddled with him, eh?

Maybe you couldn't shout loud enough to scare him away, especially if your voice was a little hoarse.

Egonga, you win the lamest horse jokes of 09-award.

I spent most of my time in AC jumping off buildings and into carts of hay, along with pissing off loads of guards...

But even that guy's not a monk. He's a knight, the battle master of the Knights Hospitillars. Did you not read who you were going to kill?
Posted May 31, 2009 11:27 am PT
The assassin guy just said I had to kill a doctor

British city? You're in Acre, the home base of the crusaders during the era .

Anyway, how much do you like the game?
