Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can't catch Pikachu until Kanto, right? That's pretty late in the game, and you can only catch him at low levels, whereas at that point, you're fighting level 40-50s.

I'm probably going to be playing through with "Gold's" team in the Manga.Gold is just the Guy character in game so why not. I think it'll be fun.If you want check out Silvers pokemon since you'll be getting Totidille.Go to serebii and look up the manga character bios.
