If it was so damn fun we'd all go out and hop in strangers' vans, but the fact is it's not a fun thing. He has no respect for anyone else's views, and can never keep his mouth shut for long enough for his interviewee to reply. The Chasers (Australian comedy group) put it best, when they said "Fox is thinking of replacing Bill with someone quieter," and then showing his interview of Geraldo with a construction worker using a jackhammer. I hate him.

Ledger's performance was fantastic. Magnificently terrifying and convincing. You almost worried that the Joker would do something to you. I have a review on my blog that's more extensive, but this is one of my 5 favorite movies, along with No Country For Old Men, Star Wars (original), Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and WALL-E.

One of my favorite books of all time and it came with the fantastic movie scene. I love the intensity of the courtroom scenes.

Chris Cornell, is the most amazing singer to walk this earth. Nobody ever had such a wide range of vocals like he does. Sure, his voice may be fading, but remember when he was in Soundgarden? Songs like "Jesus Christ Pose" and "Black Hole Sun" showed how truly amazing he is. Even when he was in the less talented band Audioslave, his singing still made the songs worth listening to. Now, he's a solo artist, playing at KROQ's L.A. Invasion, with far less talent that he would've had ten years ago. Seeing Soundgarden live would have been amazing. This, is a perfect example of a great band who's reputation as amazing is slowly being destroyed by some of the modern day supposed "alternative" (really just emo) music. All the members of Soundgarden had real talent. Chris Cornll was the greatest singer ever (I say was because his voice isn't as good anymore), and Kim Thayil is just crazy. Listen to the work of "Black Hole Sun", their best song in my opinion. The singing, first of all, is unmatched. It's also undescribable. There's something about it that just sounds so good. He had a monstrously wide range of vocals, and never had any problems amazing you. Kim Thayil has the crazy guitar solo, that most would dream of being able to play. Matt Cameron's drums were (and still are) amazing, in that song. It's where the drums truly evolve from just keeping beat to something more special. The chemistry of the band was so perfect. And just to speak more of Cornell, who could forget the impossible high-note in "Jesus Christ Pose". As quoted by ElmisOriginal, he says, "I nearly sh*t my pants every time I hear that." I admit I bloomed to Soundgarden late, but I have to say, if this band was a Soundgarden, that garden must have had some nice sound flowers.

There were some stupid jokes and some intelligent jokes, that balanced it all out to turn out nicely. The storyline is very interesting, but you can't miss a minute of it, or you won't understand. Giving this five stars would be too high because it is what they have been doing for almost twenty years, so it's nothing we absolutely have not seen before, like, say Ratatouille or Surf's Up. The one thing that bugged me, and this is not a complaint about the movie, is that whenever an intelligent joke came up, only me, my family, my friend who was there, and a couple other people laughed. Like when Homer was on the wrecking ball, being whacked inbetween a rock and a hotel, and it zooms out and the hotel's name is "A Hard Place". Gpt it, "Stuck between a rock and a hard place"?

Surf's Up is an animated comedy that follows Cody Mavericks surfing career throughout one week, during the Penguin World Surfing Championship. This was a very funny movie, and I give it about an 8.3 out of 10. They have struck up yet another creative idea with this cool film. It's one of the best surfing involved movies ever. I'll definitely get this on DVD when it comes out, and watch it more times. The only thing that holds it off from getting a higher score is the whole documentary thing. While some people liked that format, I think a straight-up story would have been better. The thing that keeps it a very high score is Chicken Joe: "These Pen-gu-ins, like, took me and made their leader and put me in a hot tub and fed me." (while being boiled with vegetabbles and spices). Chicken JOe should get his own movie. I would see that. If you haven't seen this yet, I suggest you try to find it in a theater before it's completely gone from theaters.

I would like to adress the growing problem of people saying he's overrated. He is not overrated!!! Just because some people can play his songs now doesn't change that. In a short life, he taught himself to play guitar, figured out everything himslef, learning scales and chords with no help from anyone else. And within 27 years he had done what nobody in the past had done. Without him, some of these techniques and ideas never would have come, and now people who live normal length lives, if they're lucky, might be able to conquer every Hendrix song. But will that mke them better than him, no. Nobody will ever be able to do what he did. Nobody will change the way we play like he did again. Nobody, will have such an impact again. Okay, I'll just say it: I love the Harry Potter series. I saw it in partial 3-D in which the final 20 minutes were 3-D. The special effects were amazing, everything I'd expect from the movie. Don't judge that I give perfect scores easily, this movie is just really cool and fun to get into to. When I first heard that there was going to be a Transformers movie, I thought, "Oh great. Another movie about childish action figures spiced up with a little action and now it's rated PG-13. This movie will suck." But as I saw newer and newer advertisements, I started to think, "Maybe it won't be so bad after all." Well, I was right. It wasn't bad at all. Judging by my reviews of TV and music, one would assume I shoot perfect scores at everything I like, and ones at everything I dislike. However, with movies, I'm not one to shoot perfects out like cheap prizes out of an air bazooka at a sports game. I judge movies carefully. However, this movie has proved to me that there are some you simply must reward with that 5/5. Ratatouille, is an instant classic, five star movie without any hesitation to say it. I've never seen a movie so creative and simply astounding, and, well, hillarious all at the same time. It's not like I've never seen anything as good as this, but there are very movies I would rank as high or higher than this completely loveable masterpiece of a film. The animation is so expressive, that you feel a sense of watching a different, more goofy world than ours. Now, let's talk about Remmy. I'm a guy, and us guys don't like to use words like cute, unless we're referring to a girl. But let's admit it, Remmy is adorable and cute. He may be a rat, but that's how it is. Every other character, specifically Linguini, is just so likeable to the point where you're hanging on their every word, waiting to see what they do next. It may seem to some, I am somewhat overreacting, but I simply am not. Ratatouille is without a doubt, Pixar's best movie ever. If you don't want to see this movie because you think it is too childiish, go ahead, you're only depriving yourself. See this movie, and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.

Jack has not had the hugest success possible, but none the less has had much mainstream success. He is about the only soft rocker that I actually listen to commonly on my iPod. All four of his albums have featured top hits, that are simply "ear candy". His melodic guitar workings inspire my chord playing. His lyrical work has impressed me for a while, and I hope to write songs like him someday. All young musicians like myself, should look up to Jack Johnson.

It's true, Greg Graffin is a great songwriter, who took the genre of punk, a meaningless, only good sounding music, into something truly amazing. Their other songwriter, Brett Gurewitz has had some amazing tracks as well.
