It's been about three years since my last blog post. Not bad, considering I use GameFAQs instead of GameSpot for video game knowledge.
It is definitely later than my last post, and here I am making good on my closing statement.
Well, I'm not much into DDR anymore. I still like some of the music from it, I just don't play much. The reason being that all four of my DDR pads are broken.
Instead, I've found another fun rhythm game to play in the last two years: Guitar Hero. In case you've been living under that rock in Thailand, Guitar Hero is where you play a 3/4 size guitar with five frets (finger placements to change string pitch) one strum bar (to represent all six to twelve strings, and a whammy bar (sound distorter.) It took me a week and a half to learn to play the hardest skill level. After playing for a year and a half, I enjoy myself playing the hardest songs.
However I have a rival. You (the sleeping readers) will not believe this, but his name is John Goode, middle inital of B. On Scorehero (international Guitar Hero performance comparison website) he is number 1. ONE. At least, at the time I last checked. He has since moved on to play a real guitar.
I guess I have some wierd Oedipus Complex, because I want to best him at something, but he's not just amazing at Guitar Hero. Everything he plays, he does better than I do. Granted, most of the things we have rivaled over were sports, but the video game portion of his godliness irks me. I grew up being the best at video games. Then up comes my friend and he readily defeats me at my own game. [

Now that I have the entire summer to slack off school, I intend to practice playing a guitar, and shooting basketballs so my shooting average isn't zero.
I'll get back to you later.
Yes, jojoforpres, I intend to get back to this later. Don't lose sleep over it.
