That's right folks. My favourite game of all time has been discarded to second spot, all thanks to a little game called Twilight Princess.

No game is perfect. And Twilight Princess isn't perfect. But it is the closest to perfection that I have ever experienced in any game, ever. Ever. It is sheer genius. I am never once bored in Twilight Princess. Never once. What I am is constantly marvelling that sheer artistic capabilities of Nintendo. They have designed the best game I have ever played. Whether it be the incredible dungeons, the epic bossfights, the amazing story, or just the general feel and atmosphere within the game, Twilight Princess absolutely dominates.

I am up to the 6th dungeon (still have a few more to go) and I have already made up my mind. This is, in my opinion, the best game ever developed. And yes, I firmly believe that if you purchase the Gamecube version, you are not truly experiencing the full beauty of this title. You will be missing out on a fantastic part of the game - the Wii controls add heaps to this wonderful adventure.

I know some people out there are going for the Gamecube version, and I'm glad you are buying this amazing game, but I strongly recommend you buy a Wii ASAP for this game (and Wii Sports, which is much better than I thought it would be, and is so much fun to play with your family and friends). It is the definitive version of Twilight Princess.

Folks, I never though Super Metroid would be toppled by any game. Hell, I didn't even think Twilight Princess would overtake Ocarina of Time (my 2nd favourite game). But it has. It is simply the best game I have ever played.

Buy it. Now.

Now!

I would love to buy it now. I need the damn console first, though. As soon as I saw the title of this blog, I knew what you were going to say - Twilight Princess does sound like a truly amazing title and I am looking forward to what you say in your review.

All the praise you're giving it makes me want to get it even more, though I'll still be playing the GCN version. Sure that's my choice, but it also wouldn't do my 360 any justice if I bought a new system so soon.

Regardless, I'm anticipating the game so much, I'm yearning for it, no, craving it. The sound may be a bit weak, the graphics may not be Gears of War quality, but the gameplay is sure to be up to Nintendo's standards and that should make it fun as hell.

As long as you're buying the game, I'm happy.
