I said a prayer for you
to thank the lord above
for blessing me with a lifetime
of your tenderhearted love
I thanked God for the caring
you've shown me through the years,
For the closeness we've enjoyed
in times of laughter and of tears.
And so, I thank you from the heart
for all you've done for me,
and I bless the Lord for giving me
the best parents there could be.

This is a very heartbreaking poem…it is beautifully written but it made me sad.

My condolences, Nevin, I'm sorry to hear about your parents, my sister got murdered in 2004, but the sentencing was done a few days ago, the bastard got what he deserved...anyway, that is a beautiful poem, my eyes burnt for a minute then. My condolences once again.

I know what it's like to loose somebody. Both my dad's father died in 2003 I believe, and other grandfather died in 2004. And last month, my sister's boyfriend's father died.
