I´ve bought my first computer a couple of years ago and was very happy because of how cheap I got it, only 920$ . My faithful companion have stood by my side for a long time but as the years passed she got worse and worse and not long ago she had trouble keeping up with all the new games and because of that she became my work-computer that was used mostly for programming and playing in Photoshop. Many hours have been spent in the glowing light of the CRT monitor that showed me the way of gaming. Countless hours devoted to gaming has now become happy memories that will be treasured for a long time for now a new fighter enters the ring and the elder descends her throne gracefully letting the younger one take his rightful place. I´ll admit that the computer wasn´t that great when it was bought but it could still keep up with FEAR and Far Cry at a accepable level of graphics but yesterday a friend contacted me and asked whether I wanted to buy a computer from him and with the great price I got for this one I couldn´t resist. 1050$ for a machine that delivers ~ 14 000 points in 3Dmark06 seemed like something that could perform well at all the games that I´d bought but couldn´t play because of the lack of performance but now I got something for Crysis, The Orange Box, Neverwinter Nights 2 and some other titles that I´ve wanted to play since I´d bought them. I can only hope that this computer will last as long as my older one could and that I´ll have as many fun moments with the new one while playing the newest game at the High graphics while using that mythic thing called dx10 and AA .
