1. Gears of War

-- While Gears of War is a top contender for Game of the Year and possibly one of the most over used titles, it still goes down as number one on my list. The game is pure fun, people say it gets boring after you beat the game and play a couple multiplayer maps, but I think not. I play Gears of War a lot, in fact I just found out I've played more days of Gears than Oblivion. While Oblivion was number 2, know it was right up there, if it wasn't for the multiplayer in Gears of War, the game would have been my number one. The main reason I enjoy multiplayer so much is the fact I can sit down with my friends and enjoy chainsawing them offline or online. Its great and the two new maps just help to the addiction. I'll see you online
My top 10 most wanted games of 2007 doesn't include Resident Evil 5 only because the producer said it will take more time to nail 60 fps. Here is my top ten games of this year.
10. Virtua Fighter 5
9. Lost Planet
8. Alan Wake
7. Stranglehold
6. Bleach Wii
5. Devil May Cry 4
4. Assassin's Creed
3. Lost Odyessy
2. Eternal Sonata
1. Blue Dragon

-- As you can see I love RPG's, mostly Japanese style games. Blue Dragon was recently released in Japan and already it makes me want to purchase an Imported Xbox 360, even though I dont read Japaanese and only understand a few words and phrases. I enjoy the traditional turn based Role Players from Japan and have been a huge Final Fantasy fan since, I don't remember. Blue Dragon has the creative mind of Sakaguchi and the music of Uematsu. The game comes close with Namco and Tri-Crescendo Eternal Sonata, the creator of most of my favorite games of all time (Valkyrie Profile, Star Ocean and Radiata Stories). I continue to switch on and off both these two as new information comes up.
Anyways those are my most interested games of this year. I highly recommend you to keep your eyes on these games.

Now lets talk games. I personally love the Xbox 360, there are alot of haters out there and it puts me down. I personally am a fan of all consoles. As long as there are good games on the system I will pick it up. Now whats making me go even more crazy is the Playstation 3. I personally wont be getting one till most likly late next year only because of the exclusive titles. At launch they have about seven exclusives, Ridge Racer 7, Resistance Fall of Man, Full Auto 2, NBA 07, Genji Mobile Suit Gundam Crossfire (although I dont think it'll make it to North America till December if not early next year), and Untold Legends... and between all of those games the only game that slightly interests me is Resistance but thats not the excuse to buy a system that'll cost Canadians $750 after taxes. Instead i'll wait till late next year where there might be some good games like Devil May Cry and possibly Final Fantasy XIII and Metal Gear Solid 4. Other than that, I cant complain, its a powerful system although I dont really want the Blu-ray player. People complain and compare this to the 360 saying it so much better and it'll win the system wars just cuz that but guess what? The original Xbox was much more powerful than the Playstation 2 but it didnt win, it was all up to the games... there was a huge library of games that I love personally and that sold the system.
Wii, that i'm not too sure of. Its a great new innovation and I know the system doesnt base its idea of visuals but I gotta say, its not really interesting me. The only game that will sell me the system is Bleach but right now its Japan only. Also Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles will also sell me on it, cuz the Gamecube, that system I only bought because of Resident Evil remake, 0 & 4! Wii though, its $300cdn for something that could possibly be a slightly enhanced gamecube with a new peripheral. But like I said its about the games and so far there is only 6 games that really interest me on the Wii (actually pretty much like the PS3), The two i already mentioned plus WarioWare, Dragon Quest, Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros. and everyone except Dragon Quest will not be at launch, so I once again don't think I'll be picking it anytime soon.
Im sticking with my 360 right now... its giving me alittle trouble, kinda died a couple times recently but the system has a whole bunch of exclusives, Gears, Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, Lost Odyessy, Huxley, Kane & Lynch, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell Convict, Bioshock and many many more. There is no reason to go to another system just yet with all these great looking games coming out... but I will buy each system at some point or another, most likely late next year eairly 2008.
Most recent events are that Bully, Splinter Cell and Godhand have recently been released. Bully looks like alot of fun and Godhand is quite entertaining. Splinter Cell Double Agent was released today and I cannot wait for it. Loved the original and Chaos Theory. The only thing that worries me is that the guys who did Splinter Cell 2, did this one and I wasnt a big fan of the Pandora Tomorrow. But I really am looking forward to it.
Also Theres something not many people know of, I am not HGUE on Machinima (like Red Vs. Blue) but I do enjoy doing a couple. I teamed up with my bud who does Resident Evil Days of Our Lives and we're going to be bringing you the first ever Gears of War Machinima. I started writing and throwing out ideas back in May when Multi-player was first announced at E3, and I've gotten most of the characters and story ideas (plus a couple jokes) down. We also hooked up with a large video game site (no it isnt gamespot) and they're gonna host and support us on the series. We're very excited and we'll start recording in im guessing a month (exactly). We're hoping to get an episode every two weeks and hopefully have two by X-mas this year. We're also looking into possiblities of side missions with certain characters if the series got big. I'll keep everyone informed.
Anyways, that all this week. Nothing really new yet, hopefully I'll get a job soon, need one to pay for a PS3 next year hehe. Peace out everyone!
But anways, I got it, not allowed to play it till X-mas (yea its pretty stupid) cuz really i paid for half of it... But then again i dont have any games... So there isnt much to do but fool around with the settings. I think i'll be getting Kameo and Dead or Alive this month, just cuz those two games look awesome!
After that I'm gonna wait till something good comes out like Gears of War, maybe Lost Odyssey (havent seen alot of the gameplay), Dead rising and Lost Planet. Of course im excited for titles like Resident Evil 5, Dead or Alive Code Cronus and Ninja Gaiden 2, but no official date has been announced, nor any guess. But the 360 has lots of good games coming out later, so I'm happy, now... will it beat the PS3? I seriously hope that most companies go multi-platform for us Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 players... although I am planning to get the Playstation 3, not when it comes out but pretty close. The Revolution im scared for, im gonna get it first thing if its between $99 and $199, but its up to other games to support it.
Well anyways, i got one of the next three next-gen consoles, im happy and lets hope that the 360 will be a HUGE success.
