My Dream that is Killer Instint 3

I don't know about you guys or the rest of the members here on Gamespot, and the Gamespot editors for that matter but I've been a huge fan of the fighting game Killer Instinct sinec I first saw it at an arcade back in West Covina, CA.  It was the first game to utilize an excellent combo system and in my opinion revolutionzed and paved the way for every other fighitng game since it's conception and near-perfect combo system in Killer Instinct 2/Gold.  This blog has been something that I've wanted to get off of my chest for sometime now, to speak about a game that pretty much changed my life as a12-13 year old.  Having countless years of illucid dreams that one day I'll awaken to the news that a third installment in the Killer Instinct franchise is coming out in the near future has been a small glimmer of hope that I've so early held on to.  I even purchased and X-Box about two years ago because of a rumor I heard that if a KI3 was to come out it would only come out on the X-Box because of Rare's commitment to Microsoft.  Obviously that was false to everyone's knowledge (though I am glad I purchased the X-Box because of KOTOR I and II) and nothing of the sort ever came to fruition.  Well with the release of the X-Box 360 I am hoping that somebody over there at Rare can at least speak about the idea of development on my beloved fighting franchise, because that there is enough to get my heart racing.  Though the 360 does have its quirks and screw-ups, I can only being to dream the possibility of seeing one of the graphically best looking fighters of it's time (KI2) on a system so powerful as the 360.  Imagining Sabrewulf, Glacius, Fulgore, Jago, and the rest of the crew on next-gen graphics, hardware, and video gives me such an adrenaline rush that is my passion for this fighting game.  Some of you might be readin this thinking "this guy needs to get a grip" but it's impossible when you like a game this much.  No fighting game other than the KI seires (with excpetion and extreme admiration for the Soul Calibur games) has brought so much enjoyment, replyability, and fist-fights amongst my brothers, friends, and I.  This though of KI3 will forever be with me until it comes out, and I hope to see that day (very soon Rare!!) and rejoice in the best fighting game series in history.  If you understand and feel the same way I do then let me know, as I would love to hear from the people who are tracking me all the way to random  KI fans who stumble upon this little bit of hope that is a blog.  Thank you for taking your time out to read this, I greatly appreciate it and in the future will have many more like this for games I love, miss, want, and hate.

yeah, at first I thought you were referring to primal fear ( or whatever that stuipd game with apes and dinosaurs with the blood meter as life), but then you said glacius and jago, and now i remember that game. It was awesome, and I remember my brother and I playing it all the time. I don't know if it was much better than Tekken or Street Fighter, but it was up there. And yeah, you're right about how KOTOR 1 and 2 are pretty much the best and only worthwhile games on xbox (except halo)
Here's to hoping the XBox 360 comes out wtih some more and better games.

No way bro, that game sucks ba!!s. Yeah I can remember playing it 24/7, I actually dusted off the N64 about two weeks ago and started playing KI Gold and Perfect Dark again, and it is safe to say I am still pretty damn good at them. The 360 is out now, and I have yet to hear any news about KOTOR 3, guess we will have to wait.
