Yay! I successfully have no life
Took me long enough. I finally have four digits, and I will probably keep it that way forever, unless I start amping up my post count.
For those dieing for my latest blog, I'm sorry about the wait. I've been busy doing nerdtastic things.
Anywho updates:
--I beat Phantasy Star IV. Great game, If I may say so myself.
--I got Windows 95 running in DOSBox. Better yet, it runs Sonic CD! kinda...It runs the demo, but it can't use CDs yet.
--Programming: My game is nearly a game, if that makes any sense. There is a simple menu screen, possibility for multiple levels one after the other, and a major graphics update, including animation, blinking, and all kinds of other good stuff. Better collision detection, a beginning of music, (I have a simple BGM setup), and powerups are working too! Expect a major post soon!
--I have about 1 gig of music from Newgrounds. I just can't help but love techno/videogame/epic classical--and for free!
--I can't wait for Ubuntu 9.04. Anything with awesome boot times is good with me.
That is all. Enjoy the Fresh Pharoah of Bel Aire.
Sorry, no programming updates this time, due to a wii points card I got for Christmas. I downloaded PSIV, and now I have to spend all afternoon playing the stupid thing.
At least It doesn't go on forever. I wish it did, though--it's a fantastic old-school JRPG.
Updates will come soon--Expect fantastic new features, like Enemies, new graphics, fighting, and a NULL pointer being dereferenced on purpose!
