So, on a whimsical average day, me and a buddy decided to, uh, jsut randomly go out and buy two PS3s at the same time at the same store. the intent of this act was the purely see the reaction on the clerks faces.
What we got wasn;t exactly what we were expecting.

Walked in, we grabbed 2x 80GB Edition Playstation 3's,
i also bought a copy of Ratchet and Clank

my buddy not oly got the PS3 as well, but Assasins Creed and Uncharted. Two games ive been eagerly anticipating, but we live in the same house as roommates anyways, so we decided to simply switch up every now and then when were done with our respected games.

We got MORE than stellar service behind this. Id like to shout out to Ian at Futureshop, this guy is my own personal jesus christ as he also helped me through a troubling issue regarding a PC version of Call of Duty 4 that jsut wasn;t working out, and let me switch it up for a 360 version.
as we left, the clerk got that surprised "holy piss" look on her face, and Ian shook our hands as we left, with smiles on our faces.

Needless to say it was a night filled with magical bolt collecting, assasinations, and treasure hunting.

i look forward to @Home, playing Uncharted till i beat it, and i look forward to GTA4, DMC4, and MGS4 (hmm.. too many 4's) which despite some Multi-platform, these will find a home on my PS3.

Ive boiled it down now:

If i want a great multiplayer experience, ill buy it for my Xbox 360
if i want nostalgia, ill buy it on Xbox Live Arcade if i cant find it on my respective oldschool systems
If i want rich singleplayer experience, ill get it for PS3
If it once belonged as an exclusive on a particular brand, itll stay there with me (Devil May Cry on Xbox? pfft)
if i want to be apart of a mod community: ill buy it for PC
If i want precision aiming: ill buy it for PC
if i want top-notch high end graphics: im always prepared to upgrade my PC to accomodate

Lots of tiny decisions go into what to purchase each piece of software for what.

But i feel honored to be able to make this decision. i know not alot of people can afford these 3 systems.

Oh ya... the Wii is neat. but not my cup o' tea. Galaxy was cool though.
