Jessica Savitch
She made more of a contribution to TV news than any other woman out there.
Jessica Savitch also led a frightening life. Check out Alanna Nash's book "Almost Golden" for a good read about Savitch's life.

Annabeth Gish
Many regard Gish as a sort of interloper because she assumed the lead female role in the last season of "X Files".
Let's face it: Agent Scully became boring towards the end.

Take an afternoon to watch the DVD copies of "The Judy Garland Show".
