Well I thought it was about time I started a new blog seeing as we are into the old and new TV Show favourites month, and what a month, well what a week.

((((The below comments, observations and the good, the bad and the ugly are my own personal views which I welcome comments on)))))

Last Sunday started with the new seasons of The Simpsons and King of the Hill which were both okay.

Monday we had the second episode of Prison Break a new show I got in to last week called K-Ville, a better episode than the first, also had a look at Chuck starring Zachary Levy of Less Than Perfect fame and looks promising

Next came Tuesday and the day I was looking forward to, Bones, The Unit, NCIS and Reaper which I saw the preair pilot to a month or so ago and was very funny. So happy Bones, The Unit, NCIS are back and they come under my good.

Wednesday came with another new show I started watching last week called Back To You, a comedy with Kelsey Grammer of Frasier fame, another show was one that has had a lot of hype to it, Bionic Woman ( this is my bad and ugly all rolled into one ), okay as I said my views only but I thought the show was awful, built it up too much and seemed to me was thrown/rushed to get the pilot out, would have been better if the writers had left the accident or at least her bionic parts until the second or even third episode.

Anyway moving on, nothing caught my eye Thursday but came Friday and at last Las Vegas and Stargate Atlantis returned, wont say to much in case no one's seen them, I don't want to give away spoilers but again happy to see them back.

And so to the weekend again, Saturday never has anything with value showing unless you like your reality TV Shows ( which I don't ) and tonight Sunday we have the return of Dexter, our lovable serial killer.

So folks please feel free to comment on any of the above shows or any new ones you've seen that might be worth watching.

What a sad month we are into ( or should i say i'm into ), okay living in the UK May's weather is not always great, lot's of rain this time of the year, my job is going well and so is my home life, so why so sad???

Well i will tell you......... Not one Not two but over half a dozen of my favourite shows have either finished or about to finish this month, The Unit, Bones, Jericho, Lost, NCIS, King of Queens to name a few, some have been recalled by the Fall schedule, some alias have not.

Last Tuesday and Wednesday we saw the cliff-hanger finishes to The Unit & Jericho with rumours abound as to whether the series respectively will be renewed, firstly the good news The Unit has been renewed, the bad news Jericho has not, this has caused a lot of anger, hopefully CBS will see sense and succumb to popular demand or another network will pick it up.

Monday night was especially sad for me because after nearly 10 years one of my favourite comedy shows came to an emotional end forever, King of Queens the last of the great 90's sitcom's said farewell but still left a smile in my heart, it will be sadly missed.

And so to Wednesday and Bones, again sad it was the last in this present series but am so glad it's being renewed for a 3rd season.

Next Wednesday we have the finale of both NCIS & Lost but again both these excellent series are getting renewed.

So that's it for now, i'm glad Standoff resumes next month and hopefully Dexter returns the back end of this year with a 2nd series, i have noticed there's quiet a few new series starting in the fall but i wonder if it's worth getting hooked what with Drive, Day Break and now Jericho all coming under the axe.

Wow March already and though some of my favourite shows are now back into full swing i also looking forward to the newer shows starting mid year like ABC's Mr. & Mrs. Smith which premieres in September plus FOX's Animals and The Sarah Connor Chronicles both starting in June.

I have to admit i'm a bit sadden to hear the news regarding one current favourite shows Las Vegas on CBS, for months rumours where rife regarding this season being cut to 18 episodes because of ratings and some of it's stars stating that this season was the last, then we hear the news that the producers have decided to carry the show on for another season the only problem is that two of it's biggest stars Nikki Cox and James Caan are both leaving at the end of this season, i love Nikkis character but for me it's James Caan that makes Las Vegas the show it is and will miss 'Big' Ed Deline the most.

Well i've had my little rant for now and it's getting late here in the UK so will sign off with a cheery goodbye.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like D-LinkUK.
D-LinkUK must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could D-LinkUK possibly have for not rating a single film?
