Hey everyone!

I just got Fuel for PC (!)and I've been playing it for a bit, and it's a lot better than most people think. I know Gamespot gave it a 6/10, but I've given it an 8.5/10, and that score is only likely to rise once I play it a bit more. The game puts you in a post-global warming world (Beware of the warmings!) and starts you off with an off-road motorbike. The game lets you customise your character which is good, and you can get more customisable options as you explore the massive world (I'm pretty sure I'm right in saying that it's the biggest world ever created so far in a video game.) and find them. You can also customise your ride with different paint jobs and vinyls, but I'm pretty sure you can't tune your ride's performance like in games like Need For Speed, or Midnight Club. These options that let you customise your character and ride only makethis game better. It's not as much like Motorstorm as you'd expect, but I can't pinpoint the reasons why. Anyway, you can jump around off things and your guy does tend to do tricks whilst he's in the air (So far he's only done this on a motorbike.) (Not by moving the bike, but by doing things like only holding onto one handle bar and going off the side of the bike.), which is a nice touch, and the game also has a pretty good day-night cycle. I've found it so far to be a fun game, but I've only really one one race on all three of the difficulty settings, explored around a bit and tried a race with a car (By the way, you have to purchase thevehicles but collecting fuel, so before you go off on a grand adventure to go to a new race, make sure you have a decent amount of fuel in case you have to buy a new vehicle (Which is likely.).). Fuel's really one of those games that some people may not like, but other people will enjoy (Like me.). If your thinking of buying this game I recommend it and it's out on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.Inmy opinion, this is a very good off-road racing game and I hope Codemasters (The developer of the game.) will work on a sequel sometime soon.Happy gaming!

Good to know. I was gonna get Fuel sometime ago, but since the reviews weren't that great, I decided to get other racing games before it. I'm still gonna get the game sometime in the future.

I'm not too sure what all the reviews were on about, some reviewers said it was bad but it's just not. The massive open world is fantastic fun to explore, and customising your person and vehicle is also a great part of the game. Also, driving around to find races and customisation things is a really good addition to this game and that's one of the reasons it should be ahead of its competitors (Motorstorm, ect.). The races are great fun and the whole package is just really good. Also, it's great how Codemasters don't force anything on you like Valve do (Like how you need Steam to play a game, even if you don't want to go online with it.) and all you have to do is put the disc in and press install, in my opinion games are better when they're made like this. Anyway, it's worth getting, it's a fantastic game and I highly recommend it.
