So it's my birthday--AND Supernatural comes back tonight!!! What more reason do we need to celebrate?! Oh and thanky to all for the early birthday wishes: Pixie, Ange, Shazz, and everyone else--Love, love, love!

So, I'm going to share some of my favourite Jensen Ackles pictures--from RL to Dark Angel to Supernatural Don't mind me, I'll just be a puddle on the floor! hahaha.

You know this is why half the people started watching the show! hahaha--Oh yeah, and he's one of the most talented, and underrated actors out there.

Again, lovethis picture. He looks fabulous in colour or B&W. It's a work of art, this picture. He's got a gorgeous profile. And the eyes?! Are you kidding me? FRECKLES!

Hee!!! I love me some Texas boys! Just the white long sleeve t-shirt, and the faded jeans and the big buckle belt--and the smirk!! Ugh.

Cuz I know ya'll want Jensen all tied up for yourselves! hahaha

Aw. Alec and Max! Seriously, Jensen brought out some of JAlba's best work--that she's ever done. He kinda has the ability to raise the performance levels of those around him. It's too bad things went so poorly behind the scenes on DA. Alec remains one of my fave tv characters of all time.

This boy's face just knows how to take a good picture. The slight upturn of the lips, the bright eyes, wide and looking out--perfect lashes...ugh...I can't go on. My brain just melted.

The Demon and Dean Winchester

In All Hell Breaks Loose part 2, Ona Grauer tells Eclipse Magazine that all of her scenes were done opposite only one of the series two leads, Jensen Ackles. While Ona Grauer says she regrets not having a chance to work with Jared Padalecki, that she was pleased to be working with her long time friend Jensen Ackles. "I've known Jensen for about five years, having met him through mutual friends. There is a joke amongst us friends about Jensen," Grauer speaks with affection about Ackles, "It seemed as though the shows he was on like Dark Angel and Dawson's Creek that would get cancelled shortly after he joined the cast. We always said it was because he was so good it made everyone else look bad." It's because of this friendship and admiration for his work that she says she watches Supernatural. "I think Jensen is very talented."

Part of his appeal other than pure aesthetic is the fact that he's ridiculously talented, hardworking, yet down-to-earth. Back in his Dark Angel days he earned a reputation for always being prepared for shooting, garnering the title "One-Take Jensen" which I find beyone adoreable. With all the insanity the crew had to deal with with the other two "stars" it's nice to know someone was professional around there.

He just seems like an easy guy to work with. Does his job and doesn't let it get to his head. He also got on real well with the Days crew--they promised that they wouldn't recast Eric, which I believe they haven't to this day, and told him the spot was always welcome back to him if he wanted, which is super sweet and a huge compliment. I believe late 07 he actually tried to fit it into his schedule, a brief reprisal of his role as Eric Brady on Days, since he was getting a lot of mentionin the current storyline. Unfortunately Supernatural scheduling clashed and he couldn't find a chance to fit it in--but it speaks volumes to his reputation down there that they still offered him the spot after--what? 7 years away from the show? That's just awesome.Also, he was hand picked by Drew Barrymore to be the high school love-interest in Never Been Kissed, unfortunately Days scheduling conflicted so he had to turn down the role.

Jensen certainly leaves quite the impression no matter what the role, even during his short tenure on Smallville--the guys and girls just love him there--see the s4 DVD commentary And his ability certainly made it easier to write for, since writers didn't have to accomodate for any shortcomings and that certainly endeared him to the writers--see DA s.2 DVD commentary. Ha! At one point the two women commenting just go into a long discussion about Jensen and how popular he was on-set hahaha. Really, not that surprising
