The Midwest was hit by quite a snow storm this past week. I had school canceled on my both Thurdsay and Friday, as well as an early release on Wednesday because of the weather. Normally, this would be a nice videogame vacation, but I didn't play a thing either day. I worked almost the entire time, working about 7.5 hrs on Thursday and 5.5 hrs on Friday. It's gonna be a nice paycheck, but it sure cramps my videogame life. I did manage to beat Super Mario World on Wednesday, but that was only by using Star Road to get to Bowser Castle (I'm still stuck at Roy's Castle, damn you moving platform!). I've decided I'm going to start a running tally at the bottom of my blog counting which games I've beaten this year. So far there's two.

In non-gaming news, I recently tried out for South Dakota All-State Jazz Band, no idea when I should be getting results on that. Continuing the music theme, I've decided I'm going to learn how to play the trombone. I've actually started listening to Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer, much to my chagrin (don't know that word? look it up). Soon I will be recieving a package of juggling equipment, yay! Now that I'm decent with clubs, I'm moving on to both rings and diablos (not at the same time, mind you). And finally, I believe I've started a new extreme sport, called snowboating. It's like sledding, except with boats, and it still hurts when you hit trees. Here's a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1vGrOBVKOE, I don't know what Brian did with the video of us hitting the tree, though...

I still come here and read some of your blogs, whoever you are who read this . Anywho, I've been a busy gamer lately, with quite a few additions to my gaming collection. First I got Trauma Center for the Wii. I'm completely enjoying the game, and so is a friend of mine. She's never played videogames before, but for some reason she just thinks Trauma Center is really awesome. I've also added 2 F-Zero games to my collection, by downloading the original on the Wii and GP Legend for the GBA. I've also been replaying F-0 GX on the GCN, which has caused me not to finish Twilight Princess yet. I'm at the final dungeon, too. Lastly, I've recently (yesterday) picked up a dirt cheap ($10) new copy of Geist for the GCN. It's increadibly amazing, and I'd recommend it for any FPS lover who owns a Gamecube. There's also Lego Star Wars and Super Mario World, but I'm not gonna go into details there. They're both just fun...

I'd also like to mention what me new internet addiction has been since I've left GS (Actually, I've been addicted to this for a while beforehand, but whatever...) http://cities.totl.net/ has become my new addiction. It's a browser based free to play mmo, which I've been playing for the better part of a year (meaning 8 or 9 months). If any of you feel like joining, I go by the moniker of Sir Garry there, so feel free to contact me if you figure out how.

There's just nothing here for me anymore. Not even the M&ZU can keep me coming back to the boards, which is what's been the only thing keeping me here for who knows how long. Sorry...

Crazy_Hand must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could Crazy_Hand possibly have for not rating a single film?
