Here's a fun little science experiment you can do right in your own kitchen! Please do NOT drink glowing Mt. Dew...it WILL make you sick. Only perfom scientific experiments under close adult supervision.

NOTE: The Title Screen and music were added to the original video by me. The rest of this clip came from the website mentioned right on screen. NO I did not use my FX software to create this. YES I have tried this myself. YES it really does work.

Yeah, but how long does it glow? My son wants to try it now.

It'll glow for quite a few minutes. It's well worth waiting for the sun to go down to do...and more fun than dropping 6 Mentos into a 2 liter of Diet Coke.

Oh so we couldn't light up a few bottles and go trick or treating?

I cannot get this to work for the life of me. What is the exact ratios that you use?

Not sure the exact ratios. Make sure it is regular Mt. Dew not knock off brand or diet. I'd say try about 4 oz of Dew in the bottle and work up from there.
