[Political recession meaning turning toward socialism, meaning surrendering the freedom which we have won and earned for ourselves, the freedom we know to be our right and have fought and died for.]
All about me, I see people who complain about the political landscape but do nothing to change it. Instead, many of these people go on to become secondary school teachers, in the hope that one day their bitterness can inspire someone to do what they lacked the motivation to do. I do not intend to be one of these people. I see a problem and I intend to fix it.
I will end this nightmare once and for all. My solution is to create an amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America, including but not limited to the insertion of most of the second paragraph of the Declaration of Independence into the body of the Constitution -- else, where can you find our inherent, natural, inalienable rights in our laws? -- with some minor changes, and a major change: the right to property. The absence of this doctrine in our supreme law allows for contradiction. We cannot allow an ounce of contradiction into our ethical-political philosophy -- our government is based on this morality. Today, we see a contradiction with collectivist, looting programs of the government playing Robin Hood.
Someone in OT said it best yesterday: it's not the policemen, firemen, military men, and educators that are the problem. They are there for us and die for us, and they are the source of our freedom. It's the bureaucratic, corrupt, nonchalant oligarchy that runs our legislature that is the problem.
If someone would like to be updated on this project or would like to contribute, I will be using the resources and reason of many minds to collaborate on and criticise my work, so you are more than welcome.
