Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Or... Happy Thursday if you're not celebrating Thanksgiving today

I have quite a lot to be thankful for this year, so I would like to take a minute to share some of that with you! First and foremost, I am thankful for my family. My Mom, Dad, and Sister are so wonderful! I don't know what I would do without them! And then there is Aidan's family. They are very strange, but they have really made me feel so welcome, especially his Mom. She is just so good to me! And then, of course, there is my own little family: Aidan, Lexie, and me Neither one of us was planning on becoming a family so soon, but that's the way things turned out. It's challenging. But I am thankful that it happened I'm also thankful that Aidan is the absolute best Daddy in the world

I'm so very thankful for the Internet, too! And for GameSpot. My day simply would not be complete without coming on here and seeing you guys every day! You make me laugh and smile! You're simply the best!

And I'm also so thankful for my festive new sig that Aidan made for me! It's so cute!

Anyway, I hope everyone who celebrates Thanksgiving has an excellent day today! I celebrated with my family at my grandmother's house on Sunday. She lives about an hour away in rural farm country. I feel rather out of place there, because I am such a city girl while most of the Mitchell family milks cows and stuff.It was still quite a lot of fun. I ate too much, and Lexie kept spitting up on herself. And she made an absolutely horrendous poopie in the car on the way there My goodness! I found it difficult to believe it was her. It might have been Aidan, but he insists it was Lexie We may never know the truth.

So, today we're celebrating Thanksgiving with the McKenzie family at Aidan's house. His family isn't very big, but the they are so loud. And so strange. They all have that same weird sense of humor that Aidan does. If you think that one Aidan is too much, imagine a whole roomful of them Wish me luck! Of course, they all adore Lexie. She is the first new McKenzie since Aidan was born, and they spoil her rotten!

Hi everyone! I have quite a lot of ground to cover in this blog, so I suppose I'll get started with ten exciting new facts about myself, since Slyfur kindly decided to tag me again. As much as I like sharing stuff about myself... I'm running out of things to say, so this is the last time I'm doing this tagging thing for the rest of the year! I'm not going to be tagging anyone else, either!! So there!!!

1. I split my time between Aidan's house and my house. Because my parents cannot afford to take care of Lexie, she lives with Aidan and his parents. So I spend about two-thirds of my time with her at Aidan's house, and the rest of my time at my own humble little abode

2. I got my report card not too long ago. All A's, of course

3. Aidan and I make dinner together every night! His parents are not home very much in the evening, so we're typically on our own.

4. I am a morning person

5. I think coffee is disgusting.

6. Even though I don't think my body was meant to bend that way, I'm still trying to learn my yoga poses.

7. I like to watch CSI, even if it is a little too gross for my liking sometimes.

8. I'm horrible at keeping up with TV shows in general, though. I've been trying to watch Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood on YouTube... well, I remember I was pregnant when I started watching, so it's been quite some time. And I've only made it to the third or fourth episode

9. I got Lexie some adorable little barrettes for her hair the other day! She just needs more hair so I can put them in.

10. I am officially done with this tagging for the rest of the year

I was talking with Mr. Jenkins, and Slyfur, and Desulated, and Aidan, and Stalpno, and TwilightLullaby the other day... all in one giant chat It was rather wild, but it was fun. Anyway, we were showing off pictures of where we lived, and unfortunately, my town did not have many good pictures online.

This is a park relatively near where I live. Not very recent, though, since most of the trees are now dead and with no leaves. I haven't had time to go out and take recent pictures, but they wouldn't be nearly as nice as these, anyway, so why bother?

So, photography time is done Super Mario Kart came out on the Virtual Console today! I'm going to get it! I've been wanting to try that game for quite some time! I've always wondered what the very first Mario Kart game was like. I always liked its race tracks in the Retro Cups in Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart Wii. So it will be fun to play them in their original glory! I've also been having quite a blast with New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Aidan and I are currently in World 7. We are rather terrible at working together, though, and usually wind up trying to knock each other into bottomless pits or... eat each other with Yoshi and then try and spit each other out over bottomless pits. At this rate, we'll never save Peach

And I also decided to become Almighty like him for the duration of this blog Of course, going into this contest, I think both Max and I knew that Aidan would beat us quite handily, since he is the professional. Lexie, modeling her new hat!(which did not come with an instruction manual) Her eyes are so pretty! I'm quite jealous of her. And Aidan. He has such pretty blue eyes, too, just like his little girl And this picture is a vast improvement over the crappy ones I took in my Halloween blog!

So, I tried doing yoga with Aidan's mom this afternoon. My goodness! It did not go well. You have to be quite the contortionist to pull off some of those poses... which, I might add, have some of the silliest names I've ever heard. I was best at the restorative pose where you're flat on your back not doing anything However, I think I'm going to keep at yoga, because it's apparently quite good for you. I think I look pretty good for someone who just gave birth a few months ago. I've lost almost all of that weight,but I'm still not as fit as I was before I was pregnant. I knew eating all of those cookies at 3 am while I was pregnant would come back to haunt me eventually But they were delicious!! So pretty soon, I am going to be a yoga master, with a perfectly balanced body and mind. And maybe I'll even be able to teleport and levitate like Sims that become experts at yoga?

Moving on to video games, Dapieguyofdoom got me Secret of Mana (for the Virtual Console)for my birthday back in August. It has taken me ages, but I finally started playing it yesterday. It reminds me of a cross between The Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy, which, as you might imagine, is a very good thing. Even better, it's multi-player, so that means Aidan and I can adventure together! I am the valiant hero,Aidan plays as the girl, and when we get the sprite character, we will name her Lexie It's a very good game so far, so if you have 800 Wii points to spare, I would suggest downloading it Thanks again, Dapie!

There has also been some news about Epic Mickey as of late. I must admit, the actual game does not look nearly as cool as the artwork that preceded it. All of that artwork had a really cool, creepy, atmospheric design to it, and while the game does try and retain some of that look... it fails I am, of course, still very excited about the game and still plan on getting it when it comes out.

Ooh! And New Super Mario Bros. comes out next week! I'm very excited for that, too! I can't wait to steal Aidan's coins and push him into bottomless pits! That will be my revenge for him killing me so many times in Halo the other day Almighty Courtney will put that boy in his place
