I know what you are saying dood. Its been wack for a long time, its just over the past year or so that more people are getting tired of the same old format. I like to call it Hip-Pop. You and I both know what real hiphop is. With that being said, its up to you to push it forward. Good music isn't determined by record sales in case you thought so. Instead of hating on the current sittuation of hip-hop, now is the best time to push the real deal forward. A few years ago I was totally hating on hip-hop for most of the same reasons you stated (except record sales). If anything hiphop is in a better position now than it has been in for a long time. Why? Because years of crappy hiphop as well as some technological advancements in production have spurred a divide in hiphop styles and culture. Now that people are finally getting tired of the crappy hiphop, there are more people who are starting go back to the roots while still pushing it forward so its not the same old jam. Anyways, I feel you....all I am saying is now is the best time to make an impact....instead of hating on the crappy aspect of hiphop, make you imprint and push forward the things you love about hip hop.

Oh you will not be the only one standing and laughing while on top of the iceberg, it's pretty ridculous because these artist today don't make cds anymore, they put out bull spit ringtone spit. I'll keep supporting the ones that were smart enough to stay away from the boat, but I'm not supporting the ones jumping on, good take on the hip hop game
