May I be perfectly honest here? I don't think your reviews are very good. I am not insulting you, I am just being honest about it. Your reviews need a lot of work. There are grammar problems. There are serious issues in your descriptions of the games (a lot of times, they seem to be mostly repetitive).
Now there are good things. I do like how you separate your reviews into segments which address each of the pre-determined Gamespot selections, and rating elements, but what you actually say in those segments is lacking any substance. I am afraid I could not trust you until those things are cleaned up.
You seem like a very nice person. You also seem like a person who prizes good work over mediocrity, and you seem to be very strict in your interpretation of the purpose of forums, including the "do"s and "don't"s, as evidenced by some of your journal entries. So, I ask you to apply the same basic principle here, and take this as constructive criticism. I definitely mean no insult by it. If Gamespot is to have a rating system worth anything at all, users are going to have to quit trading "trusts" and "thumbs up" review ratings with friends, and start rating these reviews objectively. Not everyone can write good reviews. That should go without saying, but apparently it doesn't. By rewarding good review writers with "trusts", and "thumbs up" ratings, those good review writers are encouraged to write more good reviews. Until yours are a bit more thorough, a bit cleaner, and just overall more mature, I'd rather not encourage you to write more reviews.
